TRIGGER WARNINGS- POSSIBLE PANIC ATTACKS, SWEARING AND FIRE

Flames licked at my skin, surrounding me. They were coming from everywhere and were leaving no room for my escape. We stood back-to-back, completely disarmed and completely unknowing to what we were going to do. Tears were forcing their way out of my eyes, and i could no longer tell if it was because i was sad or it was just the smoke that was completely flooding the room. By my calculations we had little over two minutes to get out, or we either suffocate or burn to death. To be honest, i don't really want to escape.

"Ada, turn around."

His voice was scratchy and i felt a small pain in my heart, he was obviously struggling to breath. This was obviously hurting him, so instead of making him repeat himself i turned to face him; our green eyes met and i smiled.

"If i don't make it out of here alive, tell my story."

"What!?!" i panicked, what did he mean. What was he going to do?

"Clay what are you doing." i basically screamed at him as the fire began to become too close for comfort. He pulled me closer, kissing me lightly on the lips. It wasn't meaningless but it wasn't full of a lust for something more. I looked into his eyes once more before he upped my waist in tight. Then, he swung my legs off the floor, carrying me bridal style. He pushed my head into his chest, and he ran into the wall of fire.

The reminder of the pain drew me out of my semi-dreamlike state and back into the meeting i was supposed to be listening to. Phil was just going on about the potential risks to us, Tech was picking at his fingernails, Ranboo was doodling into a notebook just random symbols but then there was Callahan. He was someone that no one knew much about, even his past. All we knew was that it involved XD, one of our biggest threats.

"According to what we have heard from The Warden, there might also be a possibility of Dream escaping. It hasn't been clarified why he thinks this but..."

I could feel my breathing starting to quicken along with my heartbeat. This never ended well. Dream...escaping. No, he couldn't be right. Pandora's vault was impenetrable. I had tried to get in multiple times, not to break someone out, just to talk.

Other thoughts started to come back, the fucking flashbacks. My dad, my family leaving me... and my mum. Tears started to roll down my cheeks before i even knew it. I kept staring straight faced into the lava opposite, staring pointlessly as the voices and thoughts in my head began to consume me. I agreed with ever stupid word they said

I'm useless, I'm worthless, I'm pathetic, I'll never amount to anything unlike anyone else here. I'm nothing but a dumb forgettable girl... boy...

I'm selfish. I'm cold. I'm heartless and I never take into account other people's feelings. I don't understand why anyone stays with me, I'm not a good person.

I'm just a mistake... and no one will ever love me, my father had made that abundantly clear.

My thoughts just wouldn't shut up... they never stop... i just want them to stop... i need them to stop...

"WORTHLESS" "HEARTLESS" "PATHETIC" "USELESS" "UNLOVED" "MISTAKE"

Shut up... shut. Up! "Shut. Up!" i yelled as i pulled my knees to my chest. My voice echoed around the room before it went silent; the whole room was like a forest at night. I sank off of my chair and onto my knees as more tears began to stream down my face.

Just as the floor began to spin i heard the scraping of chairs and the rushing of two sets of footsteps rushing towards me.

"Ada! Ada, answer me!" Techno's voice boomed in the chamber, then the whole world went black.

TECHNO'S POV

I was just picking the bits of dirt from underneath my nails before i randomly looked up. Phil was just going on about threats and obviously hadn't noticed, Callahan was silent and staring at her and Ranboo was too engrossed in his writing to notice. Tears were rolling down her face, silently but the distress was obvious in her eyes.

In the few weeks since she had joined us, she had become close to me and Phil. She was like another one of Phil's kids, and a sister to me. Always smiling, always laughing and joking around. Never once had i seen a sign of sadness anywhere on her. She had once been part of the DreamSMP but who know where she went between the end of that war up until a few weeks ago. That was when she had joined us out here, us and our unruly band of anarchists.

Tears were still silently rolling down her face by the time Phil had finished whatever he had been talking about. Without making a sound, i gestured him towards her. His worried face made it seem as if he had as much as a clue as me to what was going on.

Just as i was about to ask, she began to shake violently before screaming, "Shut. UP!" Then, she sank to her knees, trembling and crying. I rushed out of my chair towards her, but she had already stopped moving when i got there. Thankfully her breathing hadn't.

I scooped her up into my arms and held her still body to my chest. Her face was wet with tears, and her breathing was ragged but she was still alive. I didn't want to lose another sibling.
