chapter 7

*the next morning*

I woke up late so i was doing everything in a rush.

"Hi ced" i said almost falling.

"Hi y/n" he said laughing his ass off "where were you last night? i didn't see you come in." He asked.

"Shockingly i was with Malfoy" i said fixing my hair.

"You surprise me every single day y/l/n" he said shaking his head.

As we were entering the great hall i asked ced "let's go sit next Hermione" "no i can't promised i was going to have breakfast with Cho today, sorry" he said.

"Fine" i said pouting and going the the Gryffindor table

"Good morning " i said sitting next to Harry  "Good morning babes" Hermione said "morning" both Ron and Harry said.

As we were talking about what  we were going to do after classes i lifted my head and so Draco looking at me.

I gave him a warm smile that he strangely returned.

"What are you looking at?" Ron asked turning around.
"Oh nothing" i said, i obviously couldn't tell what happened between me and Draco they would kill me.

After breakfast We were all going to Defence Against the Dark Arts i sat next Hermione a Ron and Harry together.

"Jealous Ron" i said to him knowing that he wanted to sit with her.

Her just rolled his eyes and Ron and Hermione laughed.

Since Slughorn came back Snape took the DADA position that he wanted do bad.

As always nothing happened during the lessons.

After the lessons i went to Cedric since the trio had other lessons.

Me and Cedric were talking about where we were going to go for  Christmas vacations "i don't really know i think I'm going to stay at home" he said "and you?" "I think same but I'll probably go to the Malfoys or the Notts house"

When he was about to reply someone interrupted him.

"Did i hear my name" it was Theo.
"Omg hi, i didn't see you in these days where were you?" I asked.
"I got sick so they sent me back home, and now I'm back" he said giving me a hug.

"Wanna go to the library together so you could help me catch up with whatever you did in class".

"Sure why not, sorry ced I'll see you later" 

"Bye, see you later" he said annoyed.

"So what Did you do in class in these days" he asked.

"Nothing much in most of the classes we're still stuck at the same chapter, except charms, DADA and potions." I said putting down my stuff.

"Oh perfect so that's not much" he said happily.

"I have to tell you something" he added and i got closer to him.

"My parents are going to have a party and they invited almost everyone" he said smirking.

"Us too?" I asked surprised "yeah you and your family too, they already sent the invitations" he said.

"Ahh it's going to be fun" i said excitedly but then Theo said something that absolutely ruined my mood.

"The problem is they also said that the dark Lord will choose another of us to do a task for him" he looked uneasy talking about this.

I just looked at him with eyes widen "do you know who his going to choose?" I asked scared of what he'll say.

"No i still don't but i just know it's between me, you, Blaise or pansy" he said " but i doubt he's going to choose pansy , so it's between the three of us" he said.

I looked at him shocked "we're going to be dead" i said while holding my head "a task for him?! Is he going mental" i whispered to him "that's what I said but apparently he already gave someone a task and we have to help that person to complete it." He said crossing his arms on his chest.

My mind instantly went to draco.

But it can't be he didn't say anything about a task.

"That's all i now sorry y/n I'll see you later i have to catch up with your brother too" he said giving me a hug.

"Sure see you later" i said returning the hug.

I remained seated for a while before leaving the library.

What if he chooses me? What will i have to do? If i have to kill someone? Who am I helping?

"Hey Zabini" i heard someone say.

I turned around it was draco.

"Don't you think we can call each other with our first names now?" I said smirking at him.

"Can we? Y/n" "of course we can Draco" i replied in the same tone.

"How was your day Draco?" I asked.
"Normal and boring without you" i just looked at him with a disgusted face.

"Pft don't flirt with me, aren't you dating that Parkinson girl?" I asked.

"WHAT?!who told you that? I would never date pansy." He said shocked.

"Why not? everyone thinks y'all are dating, not just me plus she's really pretty" i said shrugging.

"Not gonna lie she's pretty annoying, but you are not" he said smirking.

"Oh really Draco" i said getting closer "so you like me like that" i said putting one hand on his chest.

I got even closer but then we both started to laugh "this was so cheesy" i said "yeah it is".

After a few seconds of laughing i said "did the Notts invite you  to their party?" I asked.

"Oh yeah they did, but i don't think I'll go" he said "oh come on, me and my brother are going too it'll be fun even tho I'm scared of what will happen" I said trying to convince him.

"I don't know y/n i don't want to see the dark lord plus it's better if you don't go so he won't choose you."  "I'll be there for you if anything happens I'm there i promise".

"Fine I'll go" he said giving in.
"Yesss can you believe it i convinced Draco Malfoy."
I put my arms around his neck without realizing but he he didn't mind so he put  his hands on my hips "if he chooses me will i get the mark too?" I asked looking him in the eyes "yeah" he answered.

"Did it hurt when you got it?" I asked.
"Yeah but you'll be fine if he doesn't call you" he answered calmly.
