*time skip*

It's been a few days since I've sent Cedric the letter and I'm worried he won't answer at all.

I know he doesn't like Draco or anyone of Slytherin in general but i hope he accepts ""us"".

It was around 9:41pm i was about to go to bed when i heard loud chittering from my window.

It was my owl she had a letter attached to her feet, and i felt super reliefed to know that ced answered to my latter.

I sat on my desk and started to read it.

Dear y/n

I'm doing really well I've been meeting up with Cho in these days and things are really good with my family.

I've known you since the day you arrived at Hogwarts.
We instantly became good friends even tho I'm older than you.
I'll support you no matter what.
Even tho I don't like the fact that you are getting married to someone like Malfoy I'm happy that you are getting to know him more and falling for him.
Stay safe and don't do anything stupid.

Even tho it was a short letter it was super meaningful for me.

I loved Cedric because of this, he always helped and supported anyone no matter what and who they are.

I felt like a really heavy rock was removed from my heart.

But another rock was placed when i remembered about Theo.

It's been 2 days since the party and we still haven't talked or anything, i was super anxious, i hope he's okay and didn't do anything to himself.

I was thinking of sending him a letter but i thought he would be busy with meetings and  everything else.

My father is a death eater too and he's been less at home since they have been doing so many meetings.

Theo and Draco definitely talked so the next time he comes over I'll ask him how he's doing.

*Time skip*

It was around 6:55 am when i woke up i tried to go back to sleep but i couldn't so i just woke up and went downstairs to have some breakfast.

Only my mother was there she was looking at some magazines.

"Oh good morning y/n" she said smiling.

"Good morning mother" i said sitting down and eating some bread my mother had toasted.

We talked for a lot of time, since we hadn't had time to catch up since i left for Hogwarts.

"Oh you just reminded me that yesterday we received an owl from the Malfoy family and they asked if the engagement party could be held on 2nd of January at 6pm at the Malfoy manor, what do you think?" She asked me.

But before i could answer she said "me and your father think it's the perfect day", she was smiling so much it was kinda irritating ngl.

"Yeah i thinks it's perfect" i said, not caring.

"We have to prepare everything" she said happily.

Then realization hit me.

The 2nd of January was in a few days,i didn't have time to pick a dress and everything else.

"But mother isn't it too early, i mean we haven't bought anything" i said looking at her strangely.

"Yeah i know that's why me Narcissa and Draco will be going with you" she said proudly.

"Why did i even say yes to this" i said rolling my eyes.

"So get dressed they'll be here in a few" she said with a smile that would stretch her cheeks.

"Today?! It's too early to already go out. Why didn't you tell me earlier" i said frowning and laying my head on the counter next to my mother.

"Oh come y/n/n don't be a baby come on up up and get ready" she said signaling me to go upstairs.

It was around 10:15 am at this point.

I did a simple makeup my hair down with two front braids.

I really wanted to wear pants couse they would be more comfortable but opted for a dress it would be easier to take off and on since it was a one piece.

I chose a long sleeved black knitted mini dress but i didn't mind it being a mini dress since i was going to wear it with a pair of black pantyhose and my boots with on top a black longish leather jacket.
