The time of midnight has long passed, now venturing into the dark skies of a new day.

Strange fog surrounded the peripheral vision of everyone who dared to tread the streets at this time, whether out of stupidity, naivety, or confidence was for them to decide. A dash of lust mixed into that same strange fog and clouded even the most disciplined crawlers' minds. They were seduced under a trance of that sweet, honey-like scent belonging to something just as sweet as the smell. However, the methods of going about obtaining that pleasure were forbidden and shamed to the highest degree.

Evil was lurking in the dark—evil that didn't care about 'shame' or 'decency'. This was something unknown to the foreigners outside of Grandline City, who often held up that city as the pinnacle of their entire region. Curfews were set to counteract Grandline's dirtiest secrets, but reckless youngsters who still haven't practiced the art of disguise crawled the streets in search of their sweet treat for the night.

They were careful, though. As much as they indulged in their sweets, they made sure Grandline's after-hours remained a top secret amongst the cities' residents.

Tonight, that long-running secret trailing for over 50 years would come to light through the least expected person of all.

A shrill scream echoed through the alleyway, bouncing off the brick walls covered in a dark, thick substance (Y/N) was too afraid to assess properly. Her (E/C) eyes darted each corner and refocused back on the main perpetrator at hand, shaking like a cat after a cold bath. She had been frozen in place with eyes resembling the full moon above her head. Not in a million years did she think she'd witness such a gruesome, bloody sight that had her terrified down to her bone marrow.
