PRAY FOR THOSE WHO DARE DEFY THE UGLY CREATURES OF THE NIGHT, WHO WILL SAVE US FROM THE NIGHTMARE OF NOT KNOWING WHEN OUR TIME IS UP. TO THOSE WHO EMBARK ON THIS DANGEROUS JOURNEY, MAY GOD BE WITH YOU, FOR YOU MIGHT NOT SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY AGAIN ONCE THROUGH. THEY'RE BLOOD-SUCKING PARASITES WHOSE ONLY PLEASURE COMES FROM THE SUFFERING OF OTHERS. PUT AN END TO THIS AND TAKE BACK YOUR LIFE.

CHOKE THEM BY THE NECK WITH THE BIGGEST CHAIN YOU'VE GOT. RESTRAIN THEIR ADVANCES SO YOU'LL NEVER KNOW FEAR AGAIN. CONQUER THOSE WHO'VE KILLED AND TAKE THEIR PLACE. DOUSED IN THE FLORIDA WATER AND PROTECTED BY BINDING OCEAN CHAINS,
MAY YOU FIND YOUR WAY BACK HOME.

[PRESENT DAY]

"Why did you lie to them?"

The sun began resting for the day, shifting the sky to take on an orange-ish pink color with dashes of red streaks in the clouds. (Y/N) stared at the silhouette of Luffy, who stood in front of the retreating sun with a straw hat covering his milky skin and a black trenchcoat draping down his back. They had to witness Whitebeard chewing the poor boy out for forgetting such an important item knowing how his skin is frail against September's sun. So, he wore it now. And (Y/N) would say he looked mighty fine with it on, like an important man who meant business. She couldn't help but give in to his pouty face that contrasted his dark outfit.

"I can't trust, Luffy."

She turned to him, presenting him with a glum expression of her own.

"Yeah, but they're good people!"

"And how do I know that? They talked about human meat so...so casually. It's sick to me! I get it's normal to y'all, but I'm not like you."

Luffy stepped closer, but she took a step back.

He eventually cornered her on the side of his bloody red Camaro. Her head whipped around for any onlookers until she noticed nobody had been around, once again entrapping herself in Luffy's coal eyes that stared her down with a sincere look she wasn't quite used to seeing yet.
