Dhruv messaged Kriti to meet him at the park, near their office. He texted –"I will be waiting near the fountain."
He wore a white shirt and blue jeans. He had already booked table at a restaurant, for Kriti. He planned to have dinner together after the confessing his feelings to her. He had already purchased a ring for her.
On the way, he picked a flower bouquet for her. He was very excited cum nervous.
He reached the park and went near the fountain. He was stood there and looked at his watch. Working hour was over. She would be there by anytime.
He started rehearsing his lines of how to tell Kriti. The people who passed by, looked at him in a strange way. He felt embarrassed.
Finally the moment came. "Dhruv" – Her voice came floating.
His heart started to beat fast. He turned back to see his Queen standing!
She wore a Yellow kurta along with white leggings and a long dupatta. She had a long earring which suited her attire perfectly. Dhruv was mesmerized by her beauty.
Time seemed to have stopped for Dhruv as Kriti was walking up to him.
Words were not enough to describe that moment.
She came up to him and smiled. Dhruv was dying already.
She parted her lips to say something but he put his finger on her lips to stop her.
Dhruv: Shhh!! Don't say anything. I'll listen to whatever you say but first you listen to me please. He handed the flowers to her.
Before Kriti could react, Dhruv started –
Dhruv: Kriti, You know everything about me now. I don't have anything to hide any more. I have suffered a lot. You cannot imagine the pain of losing the one you loved dearly. The pain was killing me day by day. I lost almost all hope of loving anyone ever again. Then I met you. Our first encounter wasn't so good (laughs). But the second time... I will never forget that. The moment you entered my office I had a strange feeling. I somehow knew that you are special. When I started knowing you I understood how much loveable you are. After you told me about your father, the way you were hurt to see your mother's pain made me realize that how much soft hearted you are. Kriti you are one of the most beautiful soul I have ever met. How can anyone not fall for you? So did I. The moments where we were close, made me forget all my miseries. I finally wanted to start fresh.... With you! Yes, I had a past. I loved someone. I can never deny that I loved Prisha very much. She will always hold some corner of my heart. But you Kriti, you have created you own place in my life. You can never be Prisha....But no one can be you too!! You are the most beautiful woman, inside out. My mom said that I have feelings for you, but I couldn't figure it out at first. Then I realized that when with you I'm a complete different person. Kriti, you loved me when I couldn't love myself. I will always be grateful to you for that. Specially, the way you controlled me when I broke down with my past, was unexpected for me too. I didn't want to move on but now I do. I want to move on with you. I never thought I would do this for anyone ever again, but you are unique. I don't regret any of our close moments. I am happy they happened. I'm sorry that it took me so long to understand my own feelings. So, this whole speech that I gave simply sums up to this....
Kriti was already in tears. The best moment of her life was just happening in front of her.
She was already in shock and just then Dhruv went n his knees and took out the ring from his pocket.
Dhruv: I just wanted to say – I LOVE YOU Miss Mehra! I Love You so much and I want to spend my entire life with you. I cannot think my life without you. I want you to be by my side while I'll be by yours. I love you and will continue to love you forever. So! Please be mine!!!
Kriti never imagine that someone can love her so much. Dhruv held her hand in his one hand and the ring in another.
Kriti wiped her tears and held Dhruv's hand tightly. Dhruv's heart was still beating fast.
Kriti took a deep breath and then replied with her answer –
Kriti: (sobbing) I knew you had feelings for me but never knew that you loved me so much. I too feel for you deeply but........
The moment Kriti said "But", Dhruv's eyes opened widely.
Kriti: (still sobbing) But I can't do this Dhruv. I'M SO SORRY!
