We had just seen the first competition in the triwizard tournament, Cedric was still competeing and Harry was still upset with me. I needed to speak to both of them but since I wasn't in any of their houses I barely had any time to see them.

*

It was an afterparty in Gryffindor common room. I had sneaked in along with Luna. She stood speaking to Ginny Weasley. A very beautiful girl with orange hair, thirteen years old. I walked around looking for Harry but hadn't succeeded very much.

"Granger!". I saw the brunette standing by a wall looking at the mass of people. "Have you seen Harry?". I slurred.

Hermione looked around a little, "He was here just a minute ago, maybe he's speaking with Ronald. I saw him coming down before".

"Thank you!". I ran up the stairs to the boys dormitory's. I had some trouble finding the right one, after a couple of knocks on wrong dorms i finally found them.

Harry opened and I walked inside.

"Harry, I don't know why you think that I did something with the goblet but I didn't". It had been a while since I stood up for myself. I had always been that kind of girl whom was quiet, I still were but now I had more courage.

The boys looked at me with their jaws almost on the ground. "I've never heard you speak that much, Goldstein! Well, I guess I've never heard you speak. But still". Ronald was all surprised. But so was I.

I looked at Harry. "Please. Potter I swear to you I haven't done anything". He sighted.

"Alright fine. Now leave so I can speak to Ron".

I left the party in Gryffindor common room and headed to Hufflepuff common room. As I came there I banged my knuckles on the door.

"Hey! Cho!".

A boy I had never seen before, maybe seventeen years old, opened. "What do you want?". He said and burped in my face. I tried to wave the smell away but didn't  quite succeed.

"Is Cedric Diggory here? I need to have a word with him".

The boy mumbled something and pointed at the forbidden forest. Then the door was closed right in my face.

"Great, thank you for your help, mister". I groaled go myself and started walking.

*

The cold winter air gave my skin goosebumbs. I took my hands and rubbed my upper arms. As I walked to the forbidden forest I could see a silhouette of a boy. I walked up to him praying that it was Cedric.

"Cedric?". I questioned as I let my right hand rest on the boys left shoulder. He turned around, lucky was I, it was Cedric.

"Hey". He answered and tried to smile. His eyes revealed a big bruise spreading over his left cheek.

I gasped and let my fingers touch his cheek. The boy winced and stepped back. "What happened?". I asked him as we sat down resting our backs at a big three.

"Some Slytherins weren't very happy that I was chosen. Stupidly they didn't brung their wands so.. turns out they are really strong". Said Cedric and looked at me. He took my hand. "You're freezing, we should get back".

I shook my head. "No, I want to be here with you". Cedric carefully took his arm around me and warming me. "I- I need to apologise, Ced. I didn't know you were dating Cho and-"

Cedric looked at me extremely odd, "I'm not! Not anymore. We're over".

On the outside I acted as I felt bad for him, and I gave him a try for a hug. But on the inside I was happier than I've ever been.

The boy let his right hand slid up my left leg. It gave me a tickle and I looked at the boy.

"Cedric we maybe shouldn't do this, here". I giggled and Cedric stood up. I gave him my hands so he could help me stand up.

Together we walked back to the castle, seeing fireworks in the sky as a celebration of the tournament.

"Where should we go?". I asked him curiously, feeling like this was almost a dream of mine.

The boy thought for a few seconds, "let's go to your dormitory. That'll be more calm". I nodded and we headed to Ravenclaw common room.

When we got there I mumbled the password and we got let inside. We walked straight ahead and up the stairs to the right, we passed three dormitorys and then I placed my hand on a doorknob and pushed the door open. I looked around, no one was here, great.

"This is it". I said while I sat down on my bed. Cedric looked confused. "It's messy, I know. But this is better-". I was interrupted by his lips. They were soft and almost tasted like marshmallow. Cedric pressed hips lips against mine, causing our saliva to mix.

It was the next day, I had barely spelt anything, just been up all night thinking about the kiss. It felt wrong, somewhat. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but, something surely was wrong.

I started to get dressed, I took a pair of jeans and top over. I put a sweatshirt over it, a blue one with a small hawk on it.

I was accompanied with Luna and Cho on our way to breakfast. It was Saturday and I had a whole day in front of me. I hadn't planned much. But I would like to visit Hogsmead and the old bookshop.

"Do we have any tests coming up?". Asked Cho. "I- I've heard the big exams are coming up, at other schools, at least. But I mean we have the triwizard tournament". She went silent since neither me or Luna showed much interest in her question.

Luna smiled, "We'll see what professor Dumbledore says".

We kept on walking in silence. Not one single students was in our eyesight, but we were indeed late.

We entered the hall and sat down by Ravenclaw table. There was a lot of food to choose from. My favourite was toast and watermelon slices with pumpkinjuice. But some days I just wasn't hungry, today was one of those days.

"Students!". Raised Albus his voice and walked up front. Everyones attention was on the man, now. "After the second competition, it is a tradition, to have arranged, the yuleball". Everyone looked excited and happy, but I didn't know what it was. A ball of some kind, that's all I knew.
