*Niragi's POV*

Monday rolled around quickly and it had been a couple of days since the sleepover at Chishiya's, and I was going to school after an argument with my parents that I was spending too much time away from home and thus resulted in my mother insisting on meeting the person who was taking up so much of my time.

There was no way I could tell my mother that Chishiya and I were dating but my mother is manipulative and if I didn't invite Chishya around to meet her then I would be raising her suspicions even more.

So this is how we got to this evening and an awkward family dinner with my parents and Chishiya.

Things seemed to be going well till my mom started asking questions that were clearly making Chishiya uncomfortable,

"So why did you decide to be friends with Niragi, how did that come about?" Chishya looked confused at the question but answered nonetheless,

"Well he was one of the first people to speak to me that wasn't interested in whether I was single or not so that was a refreshing change," he chuckled a little but my mother was not amused,

"Of course, he wouldn't question that he isn't a fag like some at his school, I raised him correctly so there are no issues there." She smiled brightly but I could feel my fists tightening against the seat, that was until Chishiya placed his hand on top of mine, I calmed down quite quickly and he continued to speak,

"Of course, you did how silly of me to assume otherwise, besides he is very smart and serious, almost robotic at times, which is why we spend so much time together you know he's the smart one, I'm the fun one it works itself out, by the way, the dinner is amazing Miss Suguru thank you again for inviting me over." He nodded in her direction but she scoffed and didn't seem to be warming up to him. My dad, on the other hand, was conversing with Chishiya like they had known each other for years, which seemed to aggravate my mother more than anything else so she seemed more than happy to end dinner as soon as possible.

I thanked my mother and father and then grabbed Chishiya from the table and towards the door, "We're leaving, ill be going to school from his house tomorrow, bye!" I yelled as we left not waiting for my mother to say anything else and we made our way to Chishiya's house.

When we were far enough from my house, I interlocked my hands with Chishiya's and he smiled up at me, "So that was an interesting dinner, I was surprised it took my mum so long to insult you, she was relatively polite, haha until you said that stuff about me and then all she could see was red I thought she would explode!" We turned to one another and he smiled at me,

"Yeah pleasing parents was never really my strongest trait but it was enjoyable. Plus it sucks your mum's a great cook just a shitty everything else." We were both chuckling right up until we got to Chishiya's house, when we walked in we were greeted by Yuri, who was sitting on the sofa watching a tv show.

"Hey boys, how was the dinner?" She turned to look at us waiting for an answer, with an amused smile on her face.

"Dinner was interesting, let's just say my mum isn't Chishiya's biggest fan but that doesn't matter really as long as you like me Yuri then we can just hang here." I chuckled and she nodded at us before we started heading up. Before we left I told Chishiya to head up I would just be grabbing water, he nodded and I waited for him to head up, once he was I walked into the kitchen and Yuri was in there making a snack she turned around and greeted me but I was quick to hug her. She was surprised at first but then wrapped her arms around me,

"is everything alright sweetheart?" I nodded and then pulled away,

"I just wanted to thank you for allowing me into you and your son's life, he is amazing and I love him so much so thank you again." She smiled brightly at me before placing her hand on my cheek,

"Your welcome honey." I smiled back and then grabbed a cup of water before running up to Chishiya's room. When I got there he was sitting against the headboard of his bed so I placed my cup on the table before laying myself so that my body was against his and I was staring right at him.

"Hi!? You alright baby?" He pondered and I nodded my head,

"I'm even better now that I'm here. I love you so much Taro, you are my everything." I leaned up and kissed him, he was quick to respond and brought his hands to my face pulling me closer and deepening the kiss.

That was how the rest of the evening was spent, after a rocky dinner with my parents there was some much-needed TLC for the both of us and being with him made me happier than he would ever know.
