*Chishiya's POV*

Since the day Niragi and I had bumped into each other we had been hanging out constantly whether that was at school or around town, we discovered we had very similar interests from our love of boba to our shared love of roller-coasters.

Spending time with Niragi was something I always looked forward to, especially when he would just show up at my door out of the blue and say we were going out, the only clue as to where we were going was through what attire of clothing was appropriate, but I got the feeling that surprising me was all the more important to him.

So I wasn't all too shocked to see Niragi at my door at 3'oclock on a Saturday and I was all excited to go wherever he wanted to take me, but I was more than surprised when I made eye contact with him and he had tears streaming down his face.

"Hey Niri, what happened?!?! You know what come in and we can go upstairs and you can explain." he took my hand and we were about to head upstairs when my mum popped out of the kitchen.

"Baby who was at the.. oh hello!" She gasped, "Shiya is this Niragi, the boy you haven't shut up about since you met him!" She giggled as my cheeks turned bright red,

"Muuummmm be quiet, please now is not the time." I sighed but realised that Niragi had stopped crying enough to laugh at my mother's teasing. "And for your information yes this is Niragi, Niragi meet my mother, Chishiya Yuriko." Niragi bowed at her but my mum being my mum laughed and said,

"No dear please don't bow at me I'm not that old, and just call me Yuri, now are you alright love you were just sobbing at our doorstep?" we had moved to sit on the sofa and my mum placed her hand on Niragi's knee providing comfort, this led to Niragi crying even more to which my mum simply looked at me before just pulling Niragi into a hug.

When he had calmed down, he explained what had happened with his parents. They had fought and his mother blamed the breakdown of their relationship on Niragi being born. My mother looked so angry and responded, " Well your parents are really shitty for bringing you into their fights but you are welcome to stay here for dinner and any longer if you need to, our door is always open, I'm sorry I got to meet you on bad terms but Shintaro has told me a lot of wonderful stuff about you so if he wants you around so do I." she smiled at Niragi and he returned it,

"Thank you very much, Ms Ch.. sorry Yuri It's very kind of you to let me stay." She pats his knee a final time before getting up to the kitchen and sending us on our way.

Once we reached my room he enveloped me in a hug, at first I was confused as to why but I didn't let that stop me from hugging him back, it's not like Niragi was a super affectionate person so it was a big deal for me when he would initiate contact. He whispered, "thank you for everything. And for being here for me." we pulled away and I asked,

"Why are you thanking me? You know I'll always be here for you silly." He shook his head,

"I mean thank you for being as kind as your mother is, I can see where you get your kind, fun-loving nature from. My mother is nothing like yours and I fear I will become like her..." He lowered his head.

I sighed before pulling his head up with my finger under his chin, "Please don't even think like that, you are nothing like her, and you won't ever be like her." He pulled away to turn from me.

"You can't possibly know that Taro. What makes you think I'm a good person?" I grabbed his arm to pull him back towards me.

I took to fiddling with his hands whilst saying what I thought, "How do I know that? Well because you have a good heart and- and I wouldn't be so in love with you if you weren't beyond good-natured..." I released a breath and waited for a response, I didn't get one and so I looked up from his hands.

He started at me wide-eyed, gaping at what I said. "You- You love me, as in like love love me in more than a friend way?" I was about to deny it but it seemed as though time paused and all my focus was on him, and everything there is to love about him, his personality but also his soft features and the fact that he was such a kind human regardless of what has happened to him.

"I think- yeah I'm pretty sure I love you." he gasped but didn't get much time to react before I leaned down to capture his lips in a soft and delicate kiss, to seal the deal, he kissed back wrapping his arms around my neck and deepening the kiss, I picked him up and carried him towards my bed, placing him down breaking the kiss to get on top of him before resuming the moment. My hands started trailing from his head down to his hips, pulling up his hoodie to touch his smooth skin.

"Did you boys not hear me..." We jumped apart and Niragi was quick to pull his hoodie back down. "Oh sheesh sorry didn't mean to interrupt you guys with 'whatever' it was that was going on." She momentarily looked at me indicating this convo wasn't done before beaming at us, I buried my head in Niragi's neck out of shame as she apologised and stated she had yelled up to tell us dinner was ready but we were apparently too caught up in the moment to realise.

After that, she left and we composed ourselves before heading down to join her for dinner.

Let's just say that during dinner Mum basically already decided on our wedding and that Niragi was someone she wanted me to keep around, my thoughts weren't that much different.

Niragi's POV:

After dinner had ended, I got up almost on instinct and went to take the dishes to be washed, when Chishiya's mother stopped me, "Aww dear it's very sweet of you to offer but you're the guest, please let me do that part and you boys can relax, anyway it's not like Shintaro has ever done a dish in his life!"

"Hey!" he yelled from the living room in protest and I smiled at her before going to join him on the sofa, sitting on his lap, he reacted instantly wrapping his arms around my waist and holding me close.

A few hours had passed and his mum headed up to bed, "Goodnight boys I'm calling it in for today. Stay up as long as you want there are snacks in the kitchen, help yourselves and if anything happens don't be to loud and use protection." she smiled for like the 100th time before running upstairs when Chishiya had complained about what she said.

We ended up eating popcorn and watching movies before we also headed to bed, I borrowed a pair of Chishiya's pyjamas and we ended up asleep wrapped up in each other's arms. I realised being with Chishiya felt like home and was where I wanted to stay forever.
