🏴☠️️Ch.2: A Familiar Face! Enter the Great Swordsman! Pirate Hunter Roronoa Zoro!🏴☠️
"What a day!" Luffy hollers to the sky, basking in the sunshine as bright as the grin he's wearing. "It's gorgeous!"
It hasn't even been a few hours since the two allied pirate crews and their new tag-along, Coby, have left behind the roundup of Avida Pirates by the Marines and are setting out for Shells Town, the island which harbors the Marine Base that supposedly has this "Pirate Hunter" held prisoner.
Caldur has since brought forth and carried off the Ocean's Compass to a vacant island not far from their set destination–much to the awe of Luffy and Coby, with a bit of fear in the latter's case–now that the Wayfinder Crew has loaded all of the supplies they "relinquished" from the Alvida Pirates. Ula also advises Tito and Shesheba to remain with the larger vessel, as Shells Town is not only a Marine Base island, but also a large white tiger and a just as large sea snake would attract too much attention. The two beasts nod in understanding before boarding the ship and sailing off with Caldur.
After dropping off the supplies, Ula retrieves a new change of clothes from her stores. Now wearing a dark-blue crop tank top with a lighter-blue drop shoulder crop pullover, a flowing navy-colored skirt with two slits on the front for more free motion to her legs and black thigh-high boots. With her angel quartz crystal hemp necklace still part of her ensemble, she now sports a cowrie shell choker, a necklace of half light and dark blue puka shells with some pink mixed in, and a dark-blue, nearly black, fedora with a purple-black patterned ribbon belt as the band. Her hair is also tied up in a long ponytail with the bottom of the long bangs that hang in front of her left eye now woven into a braid.
Ula steadily powers the Puakai to sail along Luffy and Coby's dinghy, reading through a newspaper a News Coo had dropped off mid-transit. She also assists in navigating them all to their intended destination, while Coby and Trigger are fishing for extra provisions. Because with the combination of Luffy's bottomless pit of a stomach, Ula's voracious appetite and feeding the pack of beasts under her leadership, sustenance needs to be gathered wherever it can be found, even by means of foraging or "relinquishing". Especially with Luffy's fondness for sneaking food that isn't his and without permission.
"Hey, Ula! How much longer until we reach the island with the Marine Base?" Luffy asks.
Ula lowers the newspaper, stretching a hand out over the side of her ship and letting it dip into the cool waters below. She shuts her visible eye and an expression of concentration overtakes her features, followed by a thoughtful hum. "Shouldn't be much longer now."
Coby watches her actions in curious fascination. "She's right. As long as we can stay on this heading, we should be able to reach the Marine Base in no time at all!" Coby replies enthusiastically.
"Wow, Ula, Coby! You're great out here!" Luffy praises. "You mean we're actually going to reach the place we originally set out for?"
"Of course! It's nothing." Coby replies. "I'm just using the skills that every sailor should have."
