After discovering the plans of the once-though, long-dead pirate captain of the Black Cat Pirates, Kuro, Ula and her party of Packmates–now reduced to Ahio and ChouChou–are quick to regroup with their allied crew.
As they pass by the town, Ula's fears in regard to Usopp have come true.
Not far off, she spots the young man running from an angry mob of villagers, an expression of immense distraught on his face and unshed tears pooling in his eyes.

Small villages like this don't normally take kindly to outsiders meddling in their business. We might only make things worse if we were to interfere. Get the others up to speed and get Luffy. Spotting a puddle on the side of the road, Ula kneels down next to it, placing a hand flat against the water's surface. "Aqua Reflect..."

The ocean-blue ring of her iris overtakes the brown of her eye like a wave against the shore, shimmering and rippling like the sea itself. Through this one tiny body of water, Ula can search within a certain range of nearby bodies of water.
'Let's just hope they're somewhere near water for me to catch sight of them.' Ula is quick to search through that which is reflected by nearby water–like looking through one-way glass–the use of the technique already becoming draining.
Just when it seems like her friends are nowhere near water, she catches sight of a familiar assortment of people just coming down from the slope where Kuro discussed his plans with Jango. 'There!'
Ula rips her hand from the puddle, severing her connection to waters far away. "We've got some luck on our side. They're heading right for Luffy. Let's go."
ChouChou and Ahio are quick to follow in their Captain's sprint.

Finally making it to the slope of the other side of the island, they're met with Zoro, Nami and the young members of the Usopp Pirates surrounding Luffy's unconscious form, head in the rocky ground and butt sticking up in the air like that myth about ostriches.
"Luffy, what did you do?! How did this happen?!" Nami cries out at the scene.
"He fell." Carrot gasps.
"He's a goner." Onion states.
"So that's why our captain looked so upset!" Pepper notes.
'Usopp must've passed by everyone before trying to warn the village.' Ula thinks to herself.
