The current environment epitomizes "calm before the storm". The orange-tinged crescent moon hangs in the early morning sky, the sun just starting to peak over the horizon. Calm waves lap at the shore, a light breeze rustles the trees.
Definitely not what one would expect before getting ready to go blows with a band of murderous, bloodthirsty pirates for the protection of a village.
"Okay. At daybreak, the pirates will be landing at this shore to begin their attack. But the only way they'll be able to get to the village is to go up this slope. The rest of the shoreline is sheer cliffs, so they have to come through here." Usopp announces, leading everyone back up the slope. "If we can fight them while they're funneled into that narrow pass, their numbers won't mean anything and the village will be protected."
"All right, sounds pretty easy." Luffy comments.
"But Usopp, what about–" Ula's critique is cut off by Usopp's laydown of his current plan.
"Talking about it is, but victory depends on our strength. What is it you guys can do?"
Everyone then states their talents.
Zoro... "I cut."
Luffy... "I stretch."
Nami... "I steal."
Ula... "The sea and its many forms are my power."
Ahio... 🌀The air and winds are my territory.🌀
"Other talents outside those present are blowing things up, synergy with nature and slicing up and ripping apart those they can get their claws on." Ula speaks for her Packmates not there.
"I hide." Usopp finishes.
"WELL, THIS TIME YOU BETTER FIGHT!" Luffy, Zoro and Nami bark.
Not finding his playful honesty the slightest bit funny at the moment, Luffy traps Usopp in a headlock.
"Just making a funny. C'mon, calm down!" The long-nosed young man wheezes.
"Alright Luffy, let him go. We need his help if we're going to make this plan work. He's the homefront advantage." Ula cuts in.

Back at the mansion's grounds, Carme conceals herself deeply in the trees that hang near the second-floor window, keeping a watch over Kaya, who has been asleep in her bed for most of the day now. Her brightly colored feathers not doing her any favors during this nightwatching mission, so she sticks to the darkest shadows of the trees, should anyone decide to take a peek out or through another window.
Approaching footsteps then draw the Macaw's attention from her vigilant watch over the girl to the front gates of the property.
"Klahadore"–or rather, Kuro–has only just arrived back at the manor.
She then hears the beginnings of a conversation between the pirate in butler's clothing and Kaya's head butler, Merry.
