Felix's POV:

September 20

We had our first test in calculus, and we're getting our scores back today. Our teacher does this thing where she calls everyone up one-by-one and hands them their test. It's a bit dramatic, but affective since my heart was beating fast when she called my name. I stood up from my desk, walking towards the front of the room. She smiled at me, handing my test to me and I quickly flipped it over. I took a breath of relief when I saw the big 'A' on my test sheet written in red ink.

I looked back at my teacher, giving her the same smile that she was giving me. I was about to turn on my heel and walk back to my desk, but she stopped me before I could, "Can I speak with you after class, Felix-ssi?"

My smile faded, thinking I was in trouble. I quietly nodded turning around and going back to my seat. Changbin was called next, and I think he was the last person to be called up to get his test. He must be anxious as well, watching him hesitate to stand up and walk towards the front as he fiddled with his fingers. When he got there, his shoulders lost their tension and our teacher said something to him before he started walking back to his desk.

Once he sat down, the bell rang, and everyone started to pack up their stuff. I didn't want to be nosy, but I saw the giant red 'F' on the front page of his test before he crumpled it and shoved it in his bag. He stood up and walked towards the front, feeling bad about how he did on his test. I sighed and walked towards the front as well, needing to stay behind because my teacher asked. The thing that confused me was that Changbin was standing in front of her desk too.

I walked slowly, placing myself next to him. We both looked at each other, furrowing our eyebrows as the last person left the classroom, "So..." Our teacher started, making both of us turn back to her, "I asked both of you to stay after class because I wanted to see if you could tutor Changbin-ssi. And this could be a great way for you two to reconcile!"

My eyes went slightly wide, and I saw Changbin shoving his hands into his pockets and dropping his head, "Oh... Umm... O-Only if he would like me to."

He hesitated for a moment, but nodded nonetheless. My teacher smiled, but I could feel how uncomfortable Changbin was in this situation, "Perfect! I'll let you two work out the details, but I expect to see improvements."

We both nodded and then quietly left the room. Changbin quickly grabbed my upper arm, pulling me away from the room so that our teacher didn't hear, "We can't meet after school. I have soccer practice."

I wasn't expecting that at all. I was full on expecting him to say he wouldn't need my help, so I didn't exactly know what to reply, "O-Ok, umm... Wanna meet after that?"

"Not at my house." He quickly replied, making me curious.

I still complied, nodding as I said, "My house is fine."

He nodded, "You're down the street, right? House number twenty?"

"Yeah."

He was quick to clear his throat and take his hand away from my arm, "I can get there by five o'clock."

I nodded again, "Yeah, that's fine."

He pursed his lips, "Cool. See you then." He said in a hurry before walking away, probably heading to his next class.

. . . . .

Changbin rang the doorbell right after Chan had left. He was going on a date with Yeji tonight and my dad was working late again, so we're all by ourselves. I'm not sure how this is going to unfold, but it shouldn't be too bad... At least, that's what I'm hoping.
