Jeongin's POV:

November 5

Today was just one of those days where Felix had to finish taking a test during our lunch break, so Kai always lets me sit with him and his friends. I knew from earlier today when Lix told me that he wouldn't be at lunch, and Kai waited for me outside my last class. I swear, he's the sweetest boyfriend on the planet. There's not a single thing I would change about him because he's just perfect all around. We're both juniors, so I hope next year we can try for the same college after we graduate. I know it's a lot to ask for, but I want to stay with him. We won't have to worry about it for a while anyways since we still have a year to think about it. And I don't even know what I want to study anyways, which might be more stressful because of my parents.

They're so strict on me and my little brother that it drives us crazy. Apparently, I need to get a college degree in something that I might not even want to do in order for them to tell me they're proud. At least my brother can say that he does taekwondo, and he's pretty good at it. But that doesn't mean that my parents are going to be supportive of it. They want him to win so badly that they put all this stress and pressure on him. They're always disappointed if he gets second place and I'm always there to give him a hug and tell him that he's amazing. He's at the top of his class as well and my parents barely seem to care.

"Jeongin?..." Kai called out, cutting off my thoughts and making me turn to him. He lightly smiled, "There you are. I've called your name three times."

I gave a smile as an apology, "Sorry, I was just thinking."

He raised an eyebrow, "College again?"

I pursed my lips, nodding in response. I swear, Kai knows me so well like Felix does and we haven't known each other for nearly that long. It's honestly impressive when you think about it. He sighed, grabbing my hand and interlacing our fingers as he said, "Don't stress, ok? I know everything will fall into place."

I scoffed, "My parents think otherwise."

"I know, but it's your future. It's not their life; it's yours..." He rubbed the back of my hand with his thumb, "I want you to be happy."

I smiled again, leaning over to kiss his cheek, "I am happy, babe."

He just smiled at me, the light red color spreading across his face. It made me smile as we walked into the cafeteria, making our way over to the table with Kai's friends with our fingers still interlocked. We both scrunched our eyebrows once we got to the table, two of his friends arguing about something.

"Soob, come on! He was just being nice to me!" Yeonjun pleaded.

Soobin didn't spare him a glance, "Yeah, this hot muscular guy comes over to you and saves you from some bully because he was just being nice."

Yeonjun rolled his eyes, bringing a hand up to rub his face out of frustration. Kai and I both sat down, and he spoke first, "What did we miss, hyung?"

Taehyun turned to us, "Soobin-hyung is jealous because this guy told someone off for Yeonjun-hyung. I have to say, it's quite entertaining."

I was even more confused, "Who did that?"

Yeonjun turned to me, seeming annoyed with his boyfriend as he spoke, "Yesterday I had practice, and guess what? I'm the only guy on the cheerleading team, so I have to change in the boy's locker room with the soccer team. We had finished around the same time they finished practice, so we were in the locker room together. One of the players started harassing me and telling me I should belong in the girl's locker room, but then his teammate came over and made him go away..." Yeonjun turned to Soobin, who was still staring at his food, "And he left after I thanked him. Baby, I love you and I bet that's he's not even gay."
