The meeting had been made and was over with Britt had a clear ind of her future and with such decision she made the choice to move Atem into her chambers with her. No one knew because it was a private decision she'd made by herself as leader.
Atem would train while Britt was at her desk plotting her next movie. She could hear his movements behind her. He tried being quiet as possible so she concentrate.
Jake had not accepted the loss of losing Britt. He still planned to win her somehow even though he knew of her betrothal and what she had done with Atem.
Nana was watching over the troops wondering when her sister and her lover would come to join the others she knew this planning was vital. She must plan this carefully so no innocents die. Nana thought as piece of her black hair with green tips got in her face. She didn't realize that Mahad was watching her as he did the training for the ones who could work magical potions.
When she couldn't come up with anything she called in Mira,Nannia, Hathor,Zoey and Olivia her most trusted friends. She allowed Jake to come to the meeting as well seeing as he was former second in command but watched by Zoey. They all were surprised to see Atem was already there, Jake's anger boiled with hatred toward the prince.
They all discussed locations to avoid innocents lives form being involved, Aknadin was the target the man who mislead the pharaoh. Bre and Nana barged in but Britt allowed it for her twin and younger sister. “we need a first attack location the Pharaoh has backed down to let us take out the target.” Britt said on their map she had marked a blue color her signature color for being the Nile Princess but also her mark for safe location from their attack.
“what if we use the prince as Bait.” Jake said,Britt glared at Jake for speaking that idea. “You will never suggest that again or you'll get out.” Britt threatened Jake wasn't scared of his leader's anger or her threat. Letting her anger go she calmed once again, “Using bait is a good idea but not our rebel champion.” Britt said, but a smirk came to Zoe’s mouth. “ok, how about we spread a rumor that the rebels are at Kul Elna.” Zoey suggested. Both Britt and Atem nod to the idea, Mira was surprised that the two seemed to be in synch with each other.
Atem stood behind where Britt was sitting and looked at her map. Kul Elan is an open area. People were killed there so it may be dangerous. Atem thought and looked at Britt. He was concerned for her safety in all this. He had letter that he'd red over a few time since seeing his father. Brit looked up at him her purple eyes meeting his Amethyst eyes “Any ideas?” She asked. Atem was surprised but quickly regain his composure as he walked over to the letters and placed them in front of Britt Britt read over the letters she recognized the seal of the Pharaoh. “These are letters from your father.” She said which surprised everyone else. “What do they say?” Mira asked and Britt looked up from them. She was between shocked and surprised as all her people could see.
“Well spill it!” Jake yelled frustrated. Nana didn't hold back her fist as she hit him for the disrespect to her sister. Jake flinched but sat there seeing Britt's gaze on him, even though she had chosen the prince he couldn't help being hypnotized by her. She then looked down at the letters. “The Pharaoh has offered some of his troops to aid us in this fight.” Britt said but as everyone started talking she silenced them. “I'm gonna take this offer, it'll help our numbers but I want them trained in our group. Our way.” Britt said, she then looked up at Atem “You'll be in charge of your father's troops.” She told him and Atem nod in understanding.
When the meeting was done everyone left her chambers, Atem went out for a little bit and when he returned he had a younger boy with him. He brought him to Britt who was talking with her cousin Hathor. Britt and Hathor looked at them, Britt gave Atem a hug but also smiled then looked at the boy then at Atem. “Who is this?” She asked. Atem took her hand and kissed the top of it as he smirked at her. “My princess meet my younger brother, Yugi.” Atem said and Yugi bowed to her. “Nice to meet you rebel leader and Nile Princess.” He said, both girls smiled as he awaited to hear Britt's next words. Britt snapped her fingers as some people brought her two cloaks. One was black like hers and the other was gray like everyone else's. Britt took both from her friend Mira. Atem was curious as to what she was about to do. She snapped her fingers once again and Nannia came over taking Atem's gray cloak from him then Britt handed him a black one like hers as she handed a gray one to Yugi's. Atem was curious so he had to ask “Why are you giving me a black cloak?” He asked, Britt smiled but Hathor her cousin was confused “To by my Co leader. You're a prince time to start to learn to be a leader when you become king.” Britt said
A couple days past as they took in extra people, The pharaoh's troops. Britt and Atem stood before them, their heads concealed at first until Atem took his hood off. Britt waited as she heard the troops be cheering that their prince was safe. Then she saw their looks on her as she was concealed still, she reached her gloved hands up to her hood as she removed her hood. The troops gasped expecting a Man to be behind the second cloak and they never were expecting a woman to be the head leader of the rebels. Atem took her hand in his as he removed one of her gloves to show her bracelet. He'd known this bracelet was her family crest she used the gloves to hide it so the troops were even more shocked to see the crest of the royal Nile family on her. “This is your hide out, your command.” Atem said
Britt looked among the troops and she decided to speak. “Welcome to the hide out. We'll make the arrangements the best we can. So for your first days you'll train by yourselves but once you've gotten used to being here you'll train with the rest of us.” Britt said. They all were still unaware what was yet to come.
