Jack and I were getting me facewash as Adam and Ryan were at the food section. "What about this one?" Jack held up a pink bottle of eye cream.

"Jack, that's for eye bags," I sighed and grabbed it out of his hand.

"I don't know any of this stuff," he shrugged.

"I noticed," I teased and put it back on the shelf. After a while of looking, we found a couple of things. First, we found Ryan and Adam with a basket full of junk food, "is there anything healthy in that basket." I laughed as I looked through it, "there are some protein shakes in there," Adam confessed; I looked up at them and rolled my eyes.

"Wanna go to the toy section?" Jack asked, and we agreed. We made it to the section, and the boys were looking for a toy ball to use for their games; I was helping look for them until I was picked up by my legs and thrown into the tower that held the balls.

A small scream came from me, and I snuck into the building. I heard balls fly out of them as my body snuck down. "Can someone help me," I asked and climbed up; Adam and Ryan helped me down as Jack picked up the balls and kept a lookout in case someone walked by.

I was put down on the ground; I tried to push Jack down, only he fought back, and we were lightly shoving each other until I gave up. We walked down the aisles until we passed the wobble bubble ball section; Jack and Ryan wanted one, so we got one and found bubbles. As Ryan tried to pop them as Jack blew them, "hold on, Ry," Jack said and blew some more, "and now you can go," he put the bottle back, and we decided to check out.

We paid for the stuff, and when we made it outside, we couldn't wait to test the wobble ball, so we began to blow it up, only we were confused when we opened the box. "I'll look up something on youtube," I decided and looked at it; we looked up at my phone, "Instruction," Ryan pointed and pressed on a video; we skipped to the part we needed. "You want to apply the included petroleum jelly to the valve," the woman explained in the video.

"What?" I questioned,

"cotton swab," Jack added,

"it didn't come with this thing," Ryan complained and pointed to the blue machine she had after watching it for a while, "you want to poke a hole?" Ryan instructed as Jack was playing around with the piece of rubber.

After we realized we had no way to blow this thing up, disappointment set in, "aw, this seems like so much fun." I pouted. We almost watched the video until Ryan paused it and said, "I genuinely think we were scammed," I nodded in agreement, but Jack was in his little world playing with the ball.

A dark blue thing was on the ball; Jack poked at it, and it stuck to his finger. "This is fucked up," Ryan complained; Jack butted in, "it's like foreskin." I chuckled at Jack's words; He looked and smiled as Ryan ranted about wasting money and getting scammed. We chose another video as Ryan wanted to see if we were genuinely scammed. "There's all this equipment that didn't come with it," I commented, pausing the video—giving up on trying to figure out how to inflate it. "This bubble ball is giving us nothing but trouble," Ryan said, irritated, throwing his arms up in the air; I looked up from my phone, and we looked over at Adam as he was sitting on a bench like a middle-aged dad watching his stupid kids do something dangerous without stopping them.

"Get off your bubble butt and help us," Jack ordered, and Ryan joined. "And get a shovel," I was laughing at the two tall boys who were sassy and demanding things from their older brother. "And grab a shovel," Jack repeated with more demand than Ryan. Jack was messing around with the ball and a sharp tool until he popped a hole in it, "ohhh," we all said simultaneously.

"oh my god," Ryan sighed,

"Jack," I grunted,

"oh fubble, now it's just made-up words." I tried to take the sharp tool away from him so he couldn't do more harm. He held it up high up from me and grinned; I jumped and tried to reach it, only he made it go higher up. Finally, I gave up as I remembered there was no point in stopping him. We probably throw it away anyways; Jack puts more holes in it. "Ryan, don't worry, I'm not going to throw it," Jack confessed until he drop-kicked it; it flew not that far, hit the ground, and bounced a couple of times; we looked at it as if we didn't feel like picking it up.

"Now it's nothing but rubble," Ryan joked when they started making stupid jokes about it. "I-ok-" Jack didn't finish his sentence until he added, "insert CGI, the ball getting kicked," Ryan looked out at the road and then back at us, "now it's nothing but rubble," he replied,

"kicked rubble," Jack added on; I looked at him, "that's not funny," and Jack ran to pick up the ball. "Can't believe we spent money on that piece of crap," I complained as Jack threw it at Ryan. They were throwing it back and forth with each other. "Guys, we need to get back on the road; let's go," Adam announced and stood up from his spot; Ryan threw the trash away, and we walked to where the bus
was parked.

The bus doors opened, and Adam sat in the passenger seat next to Ezra as we sat the bags down on the counter in the small kitchen area. I started to put the food and drinks away; Jack's and my stuff were left alone in their bag. I finished putting things away or throwing old gross stuff away to make room for the new things we brought.

I picked up the bag and walked to our room; I pulled items out of the bag: face wash, setting mist, shaving cream, shampoo and conditioner, and body wash. Jack also got a few things, like a new razor, a leave-in conditioner that he wanted to try since I thought about trying, and deodorant. I picked up my suitcase and got out my makeup and skincare bag; I dug through it, grabbed the old and empty things, and threw them away.

I placed the new items in the bags and put them back in the suitcase. As for the other things, I set the other stuff in the pouch in my suitcase. The door opened, then closed, and Jack plopped on the bed, "I put your stuff on top of your suitcase." I told him; he nodded and pulled a blanket over himself; I zipped my suitcase up and rolled back to the original spot. I was already in comfortable clothes, so I would be fine. I walked to my bedside and got under the blanket with Jack. He pulled me close to him; I could feel his hot minty breath on my neck; that was when it happened.

For the wubble bubble ball part, I got it from AJR's TikTok; you don't have to scroll for so long, but it's funny to watch them struggle with understanding that they can't inflate it; it's one of my favorites.
