~Chapter Three~

TW: bloody noses

Y/N POV:

My jaw drops as soon as I see that girl. She looks very familiar. I turn to see the boys looking at me with frightened and scared faces. I ask them in a scary tone "who is this?" They all start rambling at the same time so I can only hear certain words: found her, woods, looking, will, powers, don't tell anyone, etc.

"OK ALL OF YOU SHUT UP AND SPEAK ONE AT A TIME" I yell semi- loudly. Not trying to disturb the Wheelers upstairs. Mike starts "Ok so we were looking for Will over in the woods and we found her. So we brought her back her to my place to try and figure out what happened" Lucas then continues "And Mike wouldn't let us tell anyone because she said that if we do we're in 'danger' and the 'bad men' will come for us" Dustin finishes off "Her name is Eleven but we call her El for short AND she has powers, like a superhero but you have to promise that you won't tell anyone. You can't otherwise we're in deep deep shit."

I stand there confused as hell. I blink multiple times while trying to process what's going on, first Will goes missing then this strange girl shows up out of no where who so happens to also have powers. "Ok... so basically you found this person, BROUGHT THEM INTO YOUR HOME EVEN THOUGH YOU DONT KNOW WHO THE HELL THEY ARE, and they so happen to have super powers and the 'bad men' are looking for her?" I stand there shocked. Could it be? No. No way another person with powers escaped. Not again. You would think they would've learn the first time someone escaped.

I turn to look at the girl. She looks terrified and is hiding in the corner of the bathroom still. "Hey" I say softly to her "It's okay. I promise I won't hurt you, you can come out." She walks out and over to me. I wanna know if it's true so I ask if I can see her arm while slowly reaching for her hand. She looks hesitant and backs up. "Hey hey hey, no no no, it's okay. I promise I won't hurt you, can you just show me your arm please?" I say again in a softer tone. I then show her my arm with my number to see if she understands. She looks at my arm then looks up at me and back at my arm. She then shows me her arm and I see a '011' tattooed on there. She then embraces me in a hug, as if she's been looking for others like her. I hug her back. I can't believe it. I'm just in shock.

Mike and the rest of the boys walk up to me tapping on my shoulder snapping me out of my thoughts. "Are you ok?" Mike asks. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Um boys can you come sit down with me? I wanna tell you guys something." I walk over to the couch and sit. The boys and El follow. I show them my tattoo of '003' on my arm and explain to them everything about me, about how I have powers, and how I also escaped those 'bad men'.

"Wait so you're one of them too?" Lucas asks. "Yep" I say popping the p. "No way, that's awesome says Dustin. "And you can manipulate electricity?" Mike clarifies. "Yeah" I say as I show them by turning the lights and stereo on and off with my mind, gaining a bloody nose in the process. I wipe the blood away and turn to see the boys staring in awe. "And you guys know you can't tell anyone right, no one knows except for you guys now." They all nod in agreement. I stand up, "Good, because if y'all snitch... I'm frying you little freaks" I say with a giggle. They all look horrified. "I'm kidding, lighten up. Anyways I'm gonna go but I'll check up on you guys again soon ok?" "Ok" they all say in unison. God it's creepy as hell when they do that. As I'm about to walk up the stairs El stops me and gives me a hug. She says "sister" with a smile on her face. I smile back and say "sister" while giving her a hug. I then let go and wave bye before walking up the stairs.

Once I'm out of the basement Mrs. Wheeler stops me and asks if I would like to stay for dinner. I politely decline saying I have to get home but maybe next time. I then get in my car and drive home. As soon as I get home I feed p/n and then go to my room and flop on my bed. I look at the time and see it's 5:57. Jesus. I was there for almost 3 hours. I get up to get changed into my pjs and grab a snack from the kitchen and plop down back into my bed with
p/n. I turn on my TV and think about everything that's happened today. Then before I know it I fall asleep.

AN: Sorry for the short chapter. I'm trying to make them long but sometimes it's hard lol
