I look down at Aspen as she glares up at me. She's got that snarky look on her face, the one she makes before she causes a scene.

"You can either make things easy, or you can make them hard. Your choice, Aspen." I say.

"What? Like it can get worse than this?" she scoffs, flipping her hair over her shoulder and turning away from me.

I look to Xander, the man who originally asked for her phone. I could feel a smirk grow on my face, and I lean down so my mouth is right beside her ear.

"No more ballet. No more shopping at the strip malls. You're lucky I'm even considering letting you leave the house at all. But, I can take that away if you don't start listening." I threaten, watching her sit impossibly straighter.

She sighs before turning to look at me, giving me direct eye contact.

"I lost my phone while I was getting dressed. I don't even take birth control, you asshole." she says.

"That's fine. We'll find it." I say, backing up from her and returning to my full height.

I hear her scoff as I walk away, already sending orders to my men to find her phone.

                                                                                 Aspen

I feel my jaw clench as I watch him walk away, towering over anybody that he talks to. Feeling eyes on me, I turn to look at Prim as she gets up from her seat and reaches for my hand. I stand up by myself, taking this as a sign we are leaving.

She smiles at me before signaling me to follow her. I follow her out of the building, where a car is already waiting for me.

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion when I realized it's not a limo, but a Hellcat SRT. I walk towards the car, hearing its purr when I get close enough. The windows are rolled down, and I look in to see Slater in the driver's seat.

"And how am I supposed to get into this car with my dress on?" I question, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Not my problem." he says before turning the music up full blast.

"You fucking asshole." I say, but even I couldn't hear myself.

I open the door and get in, reaching for the bottoms of my dress so it could get it without getting completely ruined. Prim rushes over to help, shoving as much material as she could onto my lap before shutting the door.

He doesn't wait for me to put on my seatbelt before he's speeding off, not even checking lanes. The beat of his music made the car shake, which made me shake, which made me even more pissed off.

"Do you mind?" I yell, trying to make him hear me over the music.

"No, I don't." he says before he gets on the freeway and immediately gets into the fast lane.

I watch as his speed doubles, and it doesn't stop.

If he thought he was going to make me say something about his speed, he was dead wrong. He was in the car too, wasn't he? I didn't trust him, but I trusted the fact that he didn't want to die.

I look out of the windshield, watching as trees and stores speed by way too fast. He kept one hand on the wheel and the other on the compartment. His body language told me he was in control, and he knew it. That eased some worry.

After some time driving, we drive down a singular row and eventually are met with a set of gates. It guards a gorgeous house, that wasn't too big, but wasn't too small. At the sight of Slater's car, the gates are opened and he cruises through them.

He parks in a driveway that was already filled with cars, and I would never admit it, but I was impressed. He had chargers, challengers, mustangs, hellcats, and even some trackhawks. I liked that he didn't go for the "rich" cars but rather the fast ones.

He opens his door and starts walking to his front doors, completely ignoring me. I roll my eyes before opening my door, shoving my dress out, and following behind him.

"Asshole." I mutter when I reach him.

He opens the double doors to reveal a house with dark gray and black tones. Just the sight of it made me want to roll my eyes.

Two dobermans came running the second they heard the door open, and I stepped back at the sight of them. Slater notices, looking back to look at me, but he still says nothing.

"Andare." he says, and the dogs immediately go in separate directions.

He loosens his tie as he starts to walk up the staircase, not bothering to see if I was coming. Two could play that game. I watch him walk up the steps, shut a door, and wait a couple seconds.

I let out the most blood curdling scream I could manage, and I didnt stop until he came out of whatever room he was in, and stared down at me from the staircase. A couple of his guards came over as well, and when they noticed nothing was wrong, they looked at their boss.

"Are you a child?" Slater asks.

"Nope, freshly 18 matter of fact." I say, giving him the fakest smile I could.

"I didnt know I would have to request you following me, normal people would understand without me having to dumb it down for them." he says.

"Oh, it was never about dumbing it down. It's about having fucking manners." I say, rolling my eyes.

"And you think screaming like that is having manners?" he questions.

"No, actually. That's why I did it. Keep up, Idiot." I say, turning my head to the side.

He smirks before turning his head to the side.

"Lia! Dille dove andare." he says before walking away.

(Lia! Tell her where to go.)

I wait for this so-called 'Lia' and when she comes I cannot believe what I am seeing. A hispanic girl comes running out, barely dressed in a nightgown, hair all over the place. She makes her way down the staircase, coming over to me. I saw hickeys lining her body and I already knew what was going on.

This bitch was fucking my husband.

"Excuse me, please follow me." she says and turns around, walking back up the stairs.

I glare at her as she walks up the stairs, my eyes immediately drifting down to her ass.

Eh. I think mine was better.

We reach the top and go down the same hallway Slater did, except we enter a room that already had its door open. It looked like a guest room, but it had some of my stuff in it. I recognized the moving boxes as the same company from earlier.

I walk in more, looking around at the dark gray walls to the satin black sheets. So depressing.

"Is there anything else I can help you with?" I hear Lia say from behind me.

"No, there is not." I say, turning back around as I hear her exit the room.

I walk into the bathroom, seeing a gorgeous glass shower. I immediately start to strip and get in, relishing in the warm water. I wash my body, face, and hair before sighing. However, my peace is cut short when I hear moans coming from the other side of the shower wall.

The bathrooms must've been on either side. That bastard.

I roll my eyes and turn off the water, wrapping a towel around myself after I get out. I dry myself before putting on lotion and walking out of the bathroom.

I make a beeline to the moving boxes, shuffling through them until I find a t- shirt, panties, and shorts. I slide them on before slipping into bed, putting the covers over my face.

I force my eyes shut until I eventually fall asleep.
