This is the second time Mom brings someone into one of the guest rooms. She enters with them but leaves alone.

I see her going in and out, back and forth.
"R-R-Rosa, is Mommy going to see the fireworks with us?"
"Sorry, Rina. She's not. But you, Rayan, and Reymon can go. I'll be there later, okay?"
"Okay."
I'm so tired of being left aside. She only cares about money and her own pleasure, and it's been like this for 18 years. I've had enough. She's just a hassle, but with Rina, I'm done.
Reymon's in the military. He keeps two guns in his closet. I grab one, slip it under my back, and walk to the room where my mother is.
I couldn't believe what I saw. Blood was everywhere.
And there was my mother, knife in hand, stabbing the third man she was with.
I stared in shock for a moment, and when my mom looked at me and stood up from the bed, almost as if my body acted on its own, I grabbed the gun and fired three shots.
I didn't notice my father standing behind me. He saw everything I did.
