December 25 — Demian
It's been six weeks now. Six weeks of seeing her every day, talking to her, listening to her talk about her dreams. Her voice still lingers in my head long after she's gone. I can't stop thinking about her—about how different she makes me feel.
I've always been good at controlling people. I used to enjoy the power, the rush of making them dance to my tune. But with Rose... it's not like that. She doesn't just obey. She's real. She's herself. And that's something I didn't expect.
I've started to care about her. More than I should. I want to protect her... keep her safe. Even if that means changing who I am. She makes me think twice. She makes me want to be better.
I never thought I'd want to be someone else but for her... I think I might.
