The smell of alcohol filled up the air

Empty bottles are everywhere.

Drinking my one last glass of whiskey

Still, I cannot get an answer from you for leaving me.

Your heart tells nothing

But your silence tells everything.

Your warmth that once brought me heaven

Now, is a scorching heat that burned me down in hell.

Now, I am trapped.

Trapped of the thought of staying here

That this pain will never leave me there.

One last gulp and my eyes closed

Letting the whiskey fill my hollow soul to doze.

Like how you flip the pages of our chapter

And tearing it up into pieces and breaking your promise that you will be our bookkeeper.

If I knew that this would be happen

Then I never let the words escape from my pen.

For I am dreaming of a happy ending

But you left me enduring the tragedy.
