╰┈➤"That keycard opens the door, but unfortunately, the Russian with this keycard also has a massive gun. Whatever's in this room, whatever's in those boxes, they really don't want anybody finding it." Dustin explained, walking back and forth in the break room. "But there's gotta be a way in." I questioned him.
"Well, you know..." Steve began, putting his white sailor hat down on the table and leaning down on the table. "I could just take him out." He stated. "Take who out?" I inquired. "The Russian guard." He said bluntly. I sat back in my chair, nodding my head sarcastically.
"What? I sneak up behind him, I knock him out, and I take his keycard. It's easy." He explained. "Did you not hear the part about the massive gun?" Dustin questioned Steve. "Yes, Dustin, I did." Steve claimed. "And that's why I would be sneaking." Steve says while imitating walking with his two fingers.
"Ah. Well, please, tell me this, and be honest, have you ever actually...won a fight?" Dustin asked him. I smiled recalling when I had actually won a fist fight with Steve Harrington once. "Okay, that was one time- Twice. Y/n. Year prior?" Dustin reminds Steve. "Listen, that doesn't count." Steve corrected him. "What?!" I announced "Why wouldn't it? Because it looks like she beat the shit out of you." Dustin noted. I smiled and looked away. "It was..." "You got a fat lip, crooked nose, swollen eye, a lot of blood..."
My eyes landed on the vent shaft cover that was on the wall. "That just might work." I said as I got up and ran out to the register and grabbed the handful of tips that were in the designated jar. "Y/n." Steve called from behind the window. "Hey, Y/n!" I ran out to the front of the store. "Hey, what- what are you doing?" Steve called out as he ran through the door. "I need cash." I said as I turned around to face him. "Well, half of that's mine." He expressed. I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Where're you going?" He continued. "To find a way into that room, a safe way. And, in the meantime, sling ice cream, behave, and don't get beat up...again. I'll be back in a jiff." I explained and soon left.

╰┈➤After half an hour I came back to Starcourt on my bike. "It is fascinating what 20 bucks will get you at the County Recorder's Office." I said as I placed down a map of Starcourt onto the table. "Starcourt Mall. The complete blueprints." I said. "Not bad." Dustin jested.
"So, this is us, Scoops, and this is where we want to get." I showed them both. "I mean, I don't really see a way in." Steve declared. "There's not, if you're talking exclusively about doors." I pulled the map away from the one that was underneath. "Air ducts." Dustin raved. "Exactly." I agreed. "Turns out, this secret room needs air just like any old room." I grabbed a whiteboard marker from Robin's board. "And these air ducts..." I drew on the map showing the connected vents that led to Scoops Ahoy. "lead all the way...here."
