"Fortunately, it also makes you a target. By now, you've noticed," he said.
We finally slowed down and stopped at a door. "Beyond this door, lies a new beginning. Your new life," he said, sliding his card through the electronic door, forcing the electronic waves to open the door.
"But first things first, let's do something about that smell," he said, clapping his hands together.
As the boys went to get showers at their restrooms, me and Teresa were escorted to another restroom, since we were female.
I stood in my shower, washing off the blood and sweat that reaked off my body. I shaved my legs and due to the Maze, my legs were hairier than when Frypan had a beard. Thinner, but many, MANY strands of hair. A women brought our new clothes and escorted them into our bathing rooms.
"Here you go, sweetie," the woman told me, who was in a towel. "Thank you, ma'am," I told her. She left and I dropped my towel and got into my outfit, but couldn't help but to take all my old clothes and keep them in my bookbag which still held a notepad, a pencil and pen, our memory camera from the Glade, and now, the clothes. I kept my boots and put them on, and putting the white Vans into the bag.
I walked out to see Teresa looking at her outfit. She looked at mine and her jaw dropped. "Oh my gosh, you look so nice," she said. "So do you," I laughed.
Soon enough, they dragged us to a workout center, where they gave people shots that had vitamins that we weren't gaining in the Glade, people working out, and even more people getting shots.
I sat right by Newt, who was getting his shot, since I had already gotten mine. The doctor filled the needle up and Newt's eyes grew wide. "Um.. What is that?" He asked.
"Calcium, Vitamins A-Z, Kool-Aid, practically everything you've been deprived of out there," the doctor answered. "Okay," Newt mumbled.
He was obviously nervous about it so I helped him (and the doctor) out. "Awww, I think my cute little baby Newton is afraid of needles," I said in a baby voice. The doctor slowly put the needle in the boys' arm, and he didn't even notice.
"I am not.." He said, "okay, let's just get it over with," Newt said. "But Newt," I mumbled, "it is over with."
Soon, I was startled by a thuck British accent and an american one. "Miss Y/N," the British one asked. I turned around. Both of my brothers stood right behind me. "Yes," I asked, trying not to get excited.
"If you would be delighted to take a walk with us please," Max asked and I nodded.
I walked river to Newt and gave him a kiss on the lips. "I'll be back soon," I said, then left with my brothers.
I followed them into a storage closet across the room from where Newt was. The room was dark but I could still see. "What's your name?" Mason asked.
"Y/N," I said.
"Last name," Max asked.
I remembered one of my memories calling me Fontaine. Y/ N Fontaine. "Tell us everything you know about yourself," Max said.
"My full name is Y/N Jordanna Madalin Fontaine. I am seventeen years old. With the next three months, according to my memories, I shall be eighteen. My mother and father are Denise Phillip-Fontaine and Cartlise Fontaine. I belong to a large family with and older brother and sister. And two younger siblings. And I belong to a trio of triplets."
They both whispered to each other turning around. Though they didn't think so, I could hear every word they said.
"She can't be her," Mason said.
"Why not?! She was put into a maze, she remembers her past life," Max said, raising his arms.
"She isn't bloody British, you pathetic twat," Mason said.
"There's a thing called acting," Max said before turning around."And why should we know you're telling the bloody truth," Mason asked.
"And if I'm not wrong, you two are my brother Mason and Max," I said. "And you truly are our sister, tell me one thing someone in our family would know.."
I smirked. They did have a sister. One in a maze, at least.
I looked at Mason, he was the harder one to please but I remember how me and him were best friends before the maze. "Mason, you, Nathaniel and Jax have British accents from Dad. I used to but when I was put into the maze, it dropped somehow, someway."
"Max, you, Mackenzie, and Gwendolyn, now including me have mom's accent," I explained.
"It's her," Mason said. They both ran towards me and hugged me and I was happy that they were back.
