"I could never get away with anything with this guy." -Amara Abdullahi, FH.
CHAPTER TWELVE: Secrets Unraveled
Third Person
"Zakariya, listen to me carefully." Amara and Hamid's father, stated sternly as he looked at his nephew. Zakariya had left Miami around the same time when Mahmoud had left his family as well. Although he wasn't fond of his uncle he still wanted to help make things right again. "Yes, Uncle." Zakariya responded politely as he looked at him. "I need you to approach them today." Mahmoud said uncertainly. He had a plan to make his family want him again even though he knew that, that was near impossible. He had hurt them in so many ways more than one, he had abandoned them during the time when they needed him the most.
How could anyone want someone like me?
He often asked himself that question and only came up with one answer, no one would want him in their lives. "I don't think that's a very good idea, uncle." Zakariya protested. Not only was Zakariya unsure about how'd they'd react, but he was also nervous. A lot went down last time he saw them... He couldn't help but wonder if things would be the same. "Regardless, I'm going to need both you and Amir to approach them." Mahmoud replied, he knew that much.
He also had something big to tell them. Something that may just change their lives forever.

I let out a sigh as I laid down on my bed and stared at the ceiling. I just can't get over the fact that I'm back in Europe but this time I'm not alone. It's actually a nice feeling knowing that you have friends and family with you even when you're in a place that's unfamiliar.
"Hey, dude." Zubair said as he entered our dorm along with Hamid. They probably just came back from their tour. I wanted to go along with them but it was only 4 people to a group, instead Jamal and I had to go with these two annoying girls who wouldn't stop flirting with us. One of them even clung on to my arm! God, that's one of the things that I can't stand the most. When girls act all needy and won't take a hint.
"You guys just came back? How was it?" I asked turning to them. By the looks on their faces I'm guessing it went pretty well. "It was okay."Hamid replied.

It's 10 PM right now and we're suppose to be asleep, but us guys being the rebels that we are, decided to stay awake and mess around. "Okay how cute is that Alima girl? 1-10?" Hamid asked as he looked at the both of us. "10!" We all responded in unison. "You got a crush Hamid?' I joked. He gave me a be quiet look which made me and Zubair laugh."No!" He stated as he crossed his arms. I walked over to him and patted him on the back. "Good, cause you can't cheat on my little sister." I responded just to annoy him further.
