The world doesn't stop when he wants it to.

Soobin taps his foot against the floor, impatiently staring at the clock Taehyun gifted him on a forgotten day. Whether that was actually the case or he's just too occupied with other things than remembering the sentiments he kept close before, Soobin was uncertain. All he was sure of was Beomgyu's mouth on his, and the hand that caressed his cheek all night long.

For months, Soobin has been watching behind monitors during tapes. Now, he has a vivid image of what it is like to be in Yeonjun's place. And surprisingly, Soobin thought that the place under the spotlight wasn't so bad if all it required was to have Beomgyu so close.

Soobin runs his hand through his hair---well, fuck. Not only does the small voice in his head remind him that kissing his co-worker isn't professional, it screams the obscure word-of-mouth that Beomgyu isn't exactly available. And his mind was in shambles like the door hitting the wall when said actor barged it without warning. Rude.

"Are you avoiding me?"

Soobin breathes through his nose and takes his eyes off the clock."This is called being professional."

"You are avoiding me," It was Beomgyu who swiftly made his way to where Soobin stood. He feels so large, despite him being smaller physically. "Soobin," He called. Almost as if he was conjuring Soobin into telling the truth.

Soobin, though, has seen worse. "Beomgyu," The actor scowls at that. "It's not everyday we get to film in the studio, so I'm making the most of it by handling paperwork in my breaktime."

"You turned me down for lunch."

"So stubborn," Soobin groans. "Not everything will go your way. Go ask Yeonjun if you can't go alone," He tries not to sound any less oblivious to Beomgyu's whines, or to any of Beomgyu's clinging when he tries to leave.

He forgot how bratty Beomgyu could get—Soobin's not even lying about the paperworks. One glance at the table and anyone can see the stack of documents and letters about the last minute changes to the show. In a week or so, they'll begin the ending, and he hopes that Beomgyu and him would focus on that and not on... whatever Beomgyu is trying to achieve by standing shepherd for the director wherever he goes.

"Yeonjun this, Yeonjun that. Why do you keep bringing him up?"

"Because unlike you, he wouldn't bother my work like this."

Beomgyu scoffs. "Fine. Then tell me why you weren't answering my calls after last night?"

Please. "Let's not talk about that right now," He sighed as his hand moved to cover his reddened face briefly.

"Hey!'

"Jesus, why are you yelling?"

"Why are you acting like it's something to be ashamed of?"

Soobin looks up quickly. "I, uh, no. No. I'm not ashamed, Gyu."

That wasn't a lie either.

Beomgyu was a never ending scene that keeps playing in Soobin's head. He consumed his sleepless night and left no space for Soobin to even think about anything, not even the soft sound emitting from his phone.

If people were to ask Soobin, he would say that separating work and his personal life is never a challenge. However, working with Beomgyu since day one always made him question the line he's invading. Beomgyu was never just professional per se; he brings every ounce of his emotion into his job and that strings along hatred when work and Yeonjun intertwines. Cue all the fights that both Soobin and Taehyun had to sit through, and all the ruthless remarks the actor threw at the director with no shame.
