A few months had passed, and things were going really well and now Christmas was approaching. Esme pushed a few things around on her plate lost in thought.

"What's on your mind, Princess?" Victor asked as he finished his coffee. "You usually go to town on Luke's French toast and sausage when he makes it."

"Oh, sorry, it's really good, I just was thinking," She said as she put her fork down.

"We can tell," Axel nodded. "What has you thinking so hard?"

She sighed and looked out the window. "Every year Elizabeth and I go up to the orphanage and pick up the kids wishes off their angel tree. I was just wondering if I will be able to do that this year with the epidemic, that's all. I really don't want to disappoint the children and also help out the orphanage with their needs. They do so much to help the children—"

"As long as you stay home until then you should be well enough to visit," Sean said nodding. "One of us can go visit and pick up their wishes. They can get the list of things that the orphanage needs. Then Gabriel can order everything online and we will gladly pay extra to make sure everything arrives in time. It shouldn't be a problem at all."

"Really?" She asked hopefully and they nodded. She beamed and sighed in relief, "Thank you."

"Of course," Gabriel nodded. "We would love to help out the children if they mean that much to you."

"You will love the place," She smiled, "The lady, Matilda, is really grandmotherly and got into caring for the children after her daughter went through the foster system to get her children that she ended up adopting. She is really nice and loves every child that ends up with her. I found out about her one time at the hospital when she was picking up a child. I kept in contact with her after she told me about what she did and I help out whenever she needs something."

"We will love to go visit," Victor smiled and gently patted her hand. "Will you like to go introduce us if Doc says it is okay?"

As the weeks passed, the guys could see how much this meant to her. They loved seeing her this excited. Before she knew it, it was time to go drop off the presents for the children.

"Hi, thank you Countess so much," Matilda said as Esme walked up to the orphanage with a box in her hands. "We really appreciate this."

"Of course," Esme smiled as she walked through the door. The team followed right behind her with their boxes as well. "I'm just glad I was able to fill their angel wishes on the tree and that I'm well enough to drop them off. I love helping the kids when I can."

"They are going to be so excited on Christmas," The lady of the house smiled.

"Who is that?" Esme asked as she placed the box down. She watched a teenage boy move over to the window with a little boy, pick him up and then point out the window.

"Last minute placement," Matilda said sadly. "Mother lost her battle to addiction and no father on the paperwork apparently. No family either. Apparently, they have been in and out of the system for years."

"That's so sad," She whispered as she watched how he carefully held him.

Matilda nodded, "There's two more also, girls. They are napping because it was such a long night."

"There's four of them?" Esme asked and she nodded.

"The boy is 15, the boy with him is four. The girls are 8 and two months," she explained.

"A newborn?" Esme asked. "Any health concerns? Do you need formula, diapers? Anything?"

"Actually," she sighed, "I need a place for them. We are at capacity as it is and right now my only option for them to sleep is in the living room floor."

"We have room for them, Darling," Owen said as he came up to her. "Dr. Green can also keep an eye on them for any health concerns."

"Really?" She asked and Victor nodded.

"Of course Princess," he smiled, "We have more than enough room for all of them and they will get to be together, no fear of being separated while they are with us."

"Thank you," She hugged Victor. "Thank you."

"Of course Princess," He chuckled as he hugged her tightly.

"Matthew, can you come here please?" Matilda called out. The teenage boy came over while still holding the little boy. "Matthew, this is Countess Esme Morgan and her husbands. You and your siblings will be stay with them for a little bit."
