Knowing his way around the island on the back of his hand, Batman found the entrance to Dead Man's Point in no time flat. Making his way through the rocks and tight tunnels of the cave, Batman eventually came to a deadly cliff. A common suicide location, this was near his home away from home. He approached the edge with no hesitation, and jumped. The cold air of Arkham creeped through his cowl, the breeze caught his cape, activating it for gliding. Panning around to another cave in the side of a cliff. Landing on his knee and foot, he stood up steadily. He stopped at a sealed door, in which a thin, white ray of light scanned down the Dark Knight's suit and body. Finishing the job, the camouflage stone door moved out of the way, allowing entrance into the Batcave. "Security deactivated." said a female voice.A long tunnel, with water flowing down at the entrance, lead to a ledge over an abyss. As he approached the edge, and began to glide onto the main platform, Batman said clearly "On." Lights switched on, illuminating the room beautifully. The Batcomputer started up, emitting a blue light, and the Bat-Signal on all of several screens. Sitting down his his Batchair, Batman began typing into the computer."Dr. Young was heading up a project," said Oracle. "It was big, lots of external funding. Here are the last notes she filed. I can't make sense of it. What does it mean?""Looks like she was experimenting on the Arkham patients." said Batman, deeply concerned. "This new chemical only barely resembles the original Venom compound. There are a number of changes that appear to amplify the strength of the drug. Multiple references to a Titan formula. Even a small amount could trigger a Venom-like transformation in the host, eliminating the need for the storage tank Bane requires."Thinking and grabbing at some solutions inside his head, Batman hit an idea. "Hang on! These notes aren't complete! The formula is missing! That must be the secret Dr. Young is hiding! If Joker gets his hands on this, he will create an army of a thousand Banes."He stands up, walking over to a gadget pod, containing the Batclaw. 'My God." said Oracle. "Is Joker really crazy enough to do that? What am I saying? You've got to stop him."Adjusting his Grapple Gun, he adds a three-hooked end onto the tip, creating a claw-like gadget. Testing it, he fired it onto some boxes out of his reach, and pulled them out of the way, sending them into the abyss.Making his way out of the Batcave via an airvent, Batman dropped down into the sewers, and noticed a henchmen talking directly to the Joker via walkie-talkie. Performing a Silent Takedown, the goon fell unconscious, leaving Joker annoyed. "Hello???" yelled Joker through the device. "I'll teach you to hang up on me, you filthy little worm!" Following the tunnels of the Arkham Sewers, Batman bumps into several inmates. Using his Batclaw to his advantage, he clawed onto one of them, pulling him with strength, causing him to fall. "I've been digging deeper into Dr. Young. According to Bank Records, there has been multiple payments, starting last April until two months ago. Then nothing. The payments came from a company owned by Mr. Jack White." said Oracle."One of Joker's oldest aliases. So, Joker pays Dr. Young to create his army, and then all of a sudden, he stops. It doesn't make any sense." Proceeding into the Main Sewer Junction, the large chamber was filled of arches and platforms. Water fell from unsteady bridges and pipes, causing it to fall into yet another abyss. The bricks used for every inch of the junction looked weak, Batman couldn't climb it with his Grapple Gun, he had to do it the old-fashioned way."Hey, this is weird. The payments that Dr. Young account didn't stop exactly, they were declined. Dr. Young put a block on her account.""Sounds like she had a change of heart and blocked the payments. Joker doesn't like it when his partner's trying to back out.""So he decided to get himself back to Arkham, find his formula, and create the army himself.""Exactly.""I've hacked into her email accounts. Two of them stand out." she says. "The first is a resignation letter, dated last week.  Sounds like she was trying to get away.""And the second?""The second is from Joker. Well, Jack White. It's a long thread. It said, she's begging to stop the experiment,  she says it's too dangerous, he's not listening... Let's see. Random threats to her family and friends, a couple of bad jokes. And a picture of a dead baby and a threat.""Go on.""He says 'I'm coming for you, I want what I paid for. And then, another joke about wheelchairs. Lovely. And a drawing of some kind of donkey.""No mystery why she's so scared. I'm coming up to the surface, I'll find her."Finding a door out of the junction, Batman shuffled along a claustrophobic tunnel, with stone walls pressing into the corridor. Finally leaving the sewers entirely, Batman escaped into Arkham Island. "Ding dong!" commentated Joker. "Don't worry about The Bat! I've put a few surprises along the way, so if he decides to turn up and spoil the fun. Hee hee hee. Oh, and if you hear a shot in the dark, don't worry! There's very little chance of you getting hurt! It's the Bat I'm worried about. But I'm not worried about your health insurance. Ha Ha! Who am I kidding? You don't have any!" Snipers, armed across all guard towers on the island, were a serious hazard to Batman. One shot to Batman's cowl would penetrate it. A second shot would kill him for good. Looks like the Blackgate thugs have access to the armory. thought Batman.Taking them out silently, one-by-one, Batman cleared Arkham North. Continuing onto Arkham East, several snipers were armed. There were two snipers on the eaves of Arkham Mansion, Batman would have to get behind them. "Any available psychos, killers, murderers that are not yet in the old mansion, hurry up, you people, before I send you to the Bat himself!"
