Grappling up to the Clocktower, Batman glided behind the two snipers silently, and took them out. Entering the Mansion, Batman was impressed still at the detail put into every inch of the place. Red carpet, big statues, royal doors, elegant steps. "Joker here." said the clown. "A little update on what's going on here in the asylum. First the good news: We have Dr. Young. Sad news: She's not talking. However, the documents are in the mansion. I want it found!"Easily taking out 10 hostiles, Batman was racing Joker to the formula. I need to find those notes before Joker does. Navigating himself into the West Wing,He noticed an armed thug holding two orderlies hostage. He was questioning about Dr. Young's location. The hostages had no idea where she was. One of the hostages was Aaron Cash. "Thanks." said Cash."Where did Dr. Young go?" asked Batman."I told her to run. These other guys came looking for her, I told her to go to her office and hide.""Does she keep her records there?""I guess. She was pretty desperate to get in there. Her office is over there.""How long ago was this? I need to find her notes, before Joker gets his hands on them.""20 minutes. Maybe more. What's so important about the notes?" "Joker wants them. That makes them important. Stay here, I'm going to find her.""Not a problem. I'll try the radio. See if anyone else is around."Following Cash's direction to Young's office, the door was sealed. Batman had to find another way in. In this case, through a vent.

Batman finally reached Dr. Young's office. It was a nice office. Everything was clean, and her screen saver was Young and her father at her graduation. However, someone had already gotten to the safe. The only question now is who opened it. Batman looked at the main office door. No sign of forced entry. Whoever opened it knew the combination. Typing in Young's computer, Batman accessed the security footage. Let's see. The screen showed Dr.Young nervously walking over to her safe, and removed the formula. Good. Batman thought. Dr. Young got to her notes before Joker. She's taken them to hide somewhere. I need to follow here and find out where she put them. Batman scanned the safe for fingertips and was successful. He altered his Detective Vision to identify all fingerprints left by Dr. Young. "Oracle, I'm on Dr. Young's trail. I've had to calibrate the scanner to show only recent prints. If I follow these, I will find her or the notes.""I hope it works. Just so you know, the GCPD found one of Joker's bombs downtown. It was full of marzipan and kittens.""As I thought. It's just a twisted diversion. The real action's on Arkham!"

Having to face a couple of hostiles on his way to the library, a high-security henchmen was one of the four. Using his Stun Attack against him, Batman took them down as always. Eventually reaching the library, even more goons were rummaging the room, looking desperately for Young's notes. The library had two floors. This one, and the one underneath him. He could see hostages underneath a glass floor. Batman glanced up, and saw several layers of shelves and platforms. He also noticed a huge chandelier. After they were dealt with, Batman went to rescue two hostages tied to a chair, with a present-like bomb inbetween them. The 'present' contained Joker Gas, forcing people to laugh, instead of crying or screaming, and their cheek muscles expand, so when they die, a huge smile is the only thing that remains on their faces. The security gate was off, and Batman rushed in to disarm the bomb, before a strong electrical current shot through his suit, weakening him. "Ohhhhhh!" said Joker. "How frustrating! Thought it was going to be easy, didn't you! Has tonight taught you nothing?" Clearly, Batman couldn't enter the lower level of the library without killing himself, so he had to break the glass ceiling. Grappling even higher onto the penultimate highest platform, Batman crawled into a vent, leading him to the maintenance floor, where the chandelier hung from a easily-executable rope. Batman prepared a Batarang, and a growling from Sharp. He released it, and it punctured the rope, forcing it to fall straight through the glass flooring. However, the timer was still ticking. Rushing towards the bomb, he pulled off the top of the bomb, before a giant boxing glove sprung out at an enormous speed, a near miss on Batman's part. Untying the hostages, an orderly said "Thank you, Batman! Are they all gone?""Yes, you're safe," assured Batman. "What happened.""It... It all happened so fast. Some patients broke in, began tearing up the place. Like they were looking for something. Bill here fought back, but there were too many. They took Dr. Young. She rushed in here and they followed.""I'm sorry," said Bill, an Arkham Guard. "When we came to, we were all tied up. Doc Young was gone! I heard a voice on one of the radios, it sounded like they were told to meet in the Warden's Office."So, Dr. Young was trying to hide her research notes and the formula when she was caught. Where did you hide them? Batman thought. Following the fingerprints to a single book, Batman found the notes. Reading them, he burnt them up with his Explosive Gel, and they were destroyed forever. "What's that you've got there Bats?" asked Joker. "Oh no! Not the formula!" he said rather sarcastically. "What am I going to do? Who can help me now? What's that? What about our old friend Zsasz? I did bump into him on the way back into the Gardens. No doubt he was acting out some twisted fantasy. Hee hee hee."
