"THIS is your new home now. The security here is strict so your husband and any of his men won't be able to easily enter the premises. Sinabihan ko na ang security tungkol sa kanila and I gave them photos as well for reference. There's one bedroom, one bathroom, and the kitchen and living room are here. The keys are right there on the counter."

Olive looked around, her hands fidgeting as she slowly takes in the surroundings. Ang ine-expect niyang simple at maliit na apartment ay isa palang condo unit sa isang high-end condominium residence sa Bonifacio Global City. She only wanted a cheap apartment to make sure it won't break her budget but Axel seemed to have overlooked this detail.

"Uhm... Axel?" tawag pansin niya sa binata na agad siyang nilingon.

"Is this okay? Do you like it? I can look for another one if you don't," wika nito.

Olive shook her head. "No, it's more than okay, but... it's way over budget. Hindi ko kayang magbayad dito. I can stay in a cheap apartment, Axel."

"The cheap apartment you prefer will only allow your husband to easily get you. Walang security doon. This condo will ensure your safety, Olivia," paliwanag ni Axel. "And besides, I already talked to my mom about this unit so you don't have to worry."

"Nakakahiya sa kanya, Axel... wala akong enough money na maipambabayad sa kanya." Axel told her about finding her new home before she went out of the hospital this morning, but he only mentioned about asking his mom's help when they arrived at the residence. Agad siyang umalma nang malaman niya na ang ina pala nito ang sinasabi nitong 'connection' sa real estate industry pero hindi na nakatanggi si Olive dahil tuluyan na siyang dinala ni Axel sa condo unit.

"I said, you don't have to worry, so just let this be," Axel walked closer to her. "Also, technically, you will be paying me, not my mom."

"What do you mean?" Olive asked, her head tilting in the process. "You own this unit?!"

Axel nodded then gave her a small smile. "I had to purchase it so she can allow you to stay. The management does not actually cater to condo rentals, and my mom insisted that I buy it, more or less. She's what people call business-minded or something like that."

"B-But you didn't have to do that... alam kong mahal ang presyo ng unit na 'to, at sa tingin ko ay sayang ang pera na ginamit mo... 'di rin naman ako magtatagal dito."

"It's fine. I'll just add this to my list of assets and properties. 'Wag mo nang alalahanin, Olivia. Ang mahalaga ay may tutuluyan ka na," he assured her again.

Olive nodded in agreement. Wala namang mangyayari kung kumontra pa siya.

She looked at him and cannot help but feel her cheeks blush because of Axel's gaze. Aminado si Olive sa sarili niya na ibang klase ang kagwapuhan at kakisigan ng binata. She cannot help but admire him. Itanggi man niya 'yon ay hindi siya paniniwalaan ng kahit sino dahil isang sulyap pa lang ni Axel ay parang kusang luluhod na ang mga tao para sambahin ang kagwapuhang taglay niya.

Isa pa, wala namang masama kung matipuhan niya ito. Yes, she might be married, but the only thing that makes that marriage real is the marriage contract and nothing else. Hindi nila mahal ang isa't isa ni Gio at may girlfriend pa nga ito na hindi niya tinutulan. If her husband can do it, why can't she?

Some people might shame her for doing the same thing, but Olive believes that it is just the double standards kicking in people's minds.

At saka crush ko lang naman si Axel. Hindi naman 'yon masama, 'di ba?

She hesitated at first, but Olive decided to just follow her thought by wrapping her arms around Axel's neck to hug him tightly. It took a moment for Axel to react. Lalayo na sana siya dahil baka hindi nagustuhan ng binata ang ginawa niya pero agad na yumakap ang mga braso nito sa kanyang beywang.
