Jisoo's POV

I hurriedly went in my chamber. Vernon is there, waiting for me. As soon as I go in, he literally dragged me towards the a patient room.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked. He didn't answered and go in the room.

I breath caught in throat as soon as I saw the person I never expected. It's Jennie, laying on the bed. As she heard we come in, She look at us and her eyes went wide. I don't know what to feel. Whether to yell at her or just hug her tightly. I didn't expected her to come back in Seoul or more specifically in this damn hospital.

"She is the victim's friend, who survived the attack." Vernon said.

Now I'm shocked. What the fuck! I quickly go to her, checking her. I sighed in relief after seeing that she is okay except her little bit head injury.

"How did it happened?" I asked, but she removed her hand from mine and looked away.

"I was in the club with Mina. She went in the restroom.. i-i didn't felt right, when I saw a suspicious person go in the toilet. I followed that person and s-saw that--" I hold her hand tightly as she start to cry.

"Did you saw that person's face or any item that will make you recognize him/her later?" Vernon asked.

"N-no.." Jennie replied shortly before removing her hand from mine.

"Come on.. there must be something." Vernon pressured her.

I get annoyed. "You can't just force her. She had a head injury."

He sighed in annoyance, "fine. I'll come back later." He said before going outside.

Now we are all alone in the room. I'm feeling nervous. I glanced at her, but she is just staring at the wall. The emotions that bottled up inside me about to burst out.

"Let me check the wound on your head." I said, unwrapping the bandage.

She just hummed in response. I cleaned the cut and put the medicine before wrapping a fresh bandage. This whole time she didn't said a single words.  I stayed beside her, sitting.

"I'll get some sleep.." she said and about to lay down when I couldn't help but to ask her.

"Why did you left without saying anything?" I asked.

"I have my reasons." She said monotonously.

"I want to know that freaking reason. I waited for months." I raised my voice.

This time she turned to look at me. Her eyes are extremely cold. "It doesn't look like you grieved for once because of my leave. The reason doesn't matter anymore."

It feels like someone stabbed my heart. How can she said that? Did she even saw how much I suffered? My anger start to rise.

I glared at her, "you are talking like that you actually saw what I was going through? Don't fucking say things that you never witnessed. Who do you think you are!? Is this how you planned to treat me? I simply wanted to know that damn reason! You don't know how much I suff--"

"Oh please! You act all pathetic to get my sympathy. You should focus on your rich, influential wife. I can see who is the gold digger now.." she said sarcastically while scoffing.

Literally I feel like someone stabbed my heart. It's so painful to hear those words from Jennie.

I stared at her, "gold digger? If I really am a gold digger then I would not had choose you and stay with you for years. I would had left you a long time ago and make someone my partner who have the worth. I wouldn't had encouraged you keep on pursuing your dream even though in result I only get insults and ignorance!"

Jennie gulped, trying to say something but I stopped her again. I have enough of her stupid insults.

"You're calling me gold digger cause I married Lisa. At least she is an understanding person not like you. She is my best friend. When I was suffering from heartbreak, she was the one who stayed by my side even though we met a few days ago that time. My feelings for you never changed. Our marriage happened because of a reason." I burst out my anger.

She deserves more. How dare she call me a gold digger? She know me yet said those fucking things.

"J-Jisoo I was j--" I didn't let her finish.

"You don't need to say anything. I don't want to know anymore. I really waited for you all these months. Thought that one day you'll come and say that I can't live without you. Guess my gut feeling said wrong things. Let's just not talk about it. You are injured. Rest well." I said and didn't let her say anything as I exited her room.

I went straight to the toilet and start to cry. I feel extremely disappointed by her words. She didn't even tried to know the reason. Didn't she knew how much I love her? Or is it she never cared or loved me truly?

Jennie's POV

I seriously feel dumbfounded by Jisoo's sudden out burst. It was my fault to call her a gold digger. What she did was right. I'm such a shitty person. If only I get back to her before, she would still be mine. I suddenly remember that she said that there's a reason behind the marriage. What can it be?

Oh maybe it's a business marriage. Both of Lisa and Jisoo's parents have big businesses. I still can't stop the aching feeling in my heart. It's painful to see who her with someone else. Jisoo must thing that I don't love her anymore. How am I gonna explain that i can't fell out of love of her in this lifetime.

"Ms. Kim, it's time for your dinner." The nurse said, putting the food tray infront of me.

Seriously I'm not in the mood to eat. I was about to push away the plate Jisoo come in. She raised an eyebrow at me and on other hand she motioned the nurse to go out.

"You need to eat.. you are not in a good shape." She said without looking me.

I didn't answered her, as she pick up some veggies, chicken and put it in my plate. Even though she is mad, her pampering nature towards me never fades away. I stared at her while she is just focusing on the file.

"H-have you eaten yet?" I asked hesitantly.

She nod her head. I sighed, knowing she won't talk to me. I just focused on eating. All of a sudden she said,

"I'm gonna be your doctor for 4 days now. Vernon did it." She get up from her seat and put aside the trays.

"Come on.. Vernon want to know somethings. Let's go now." Jisoo said again before pushing the wheel chair towards me.

I gulped. What am I gonna say though? That girl was looking exactly like Lisa,but I can't just say it all of a sudden. Or should I?

Jisoo push my chair out of the elevator, where Vernon was waiting. As soon as he saw us, his eyes sparkled. He is quite weird. We were going towards Jisoo's chamber. All of a sudden they stopped. I looked up to see Lisa standing a few feet away from us, fuming in anger and also looking scared while looking at me. I glanced up to see Jisoo glaring at her as well.
