Jisoo's POV

I just can't believe what Vernon said as well as Lisa's beastly behaviour. I'm shocked, confused and scared at the same time. I want to deny all those things Vernon said, but something in my mind can't say no.

"Can you please be gentle?" Jennie groaned.

"Oh sorry." I apologised.

I'm checking her jaw. The hard punch from Lisa, almost broke her jaw. I accidentally pressed it while thinking. I give her the pain reliever.

"It didn't broke. Don't worry." I said, before sitting down beside her.

I just don't understand what the fuck is going on in my life? What did I do wrong? I can't trust Vernon though. He can lie as well.

"You must be having a hard time believing it?" Jennie suddenly asked.

I nodded only.

"When I first saw Lisa in a beast form in the club, I was also shocked. I was even more surprised when Vernon said that he knows about Lisa's condition." She said.

"Why didn't he told me?"

"You wouldn't believe it before. Though I didn't knew about this story." She said.

She is right. I would never believe it until I see it through my eyes. It is still hard for me to accept. Especially I'm the one being in the most danger right now. On the second thought, I never had that kind of valuable stone. I don't remember having one.

"Chu.. I know what I did was wrong. I never wanted to hurt you, yet I did every single time. Maybe you won't be able to forgive me but I'll still be by your side. I'll protect you." Her words make my blood boil.

"I don't need you help. Didn't I told you to not interfere in my matter. Even if I die it won't matters to you. Stop showing fake concern!" I yelled at her.

"Please forgive me Chu.. I'll prove that I'm not like before. I'm not telling you to accept me again.. just as a friend let me be by your side." She begged.

It made me more angry. "If I can save myself from dying in pain when you left me. Then I can protect myself this time as well."

I was about to go out of the room, Vernon come in hurriedly.

"We need to go to your parent's house." He said to me. The worry in his voice made me scared.

"Why? What happened?" I asked, as my stomach churn in fear.

"We don't have time! Jennie take her and come with me." He said to Jennie before going out.

I didn't wait for Jennie and walked out also. As I come in the lobby, the uncomfortable feeling becomes more serious. An ambulance is ready to come with us.

I saw Vernon talking to Chanyeol. I marched towards him.

"Why are you not saying what happened!? Why is the ambulance coming with us!?" I yelled at him.

"Please calm down.. you'll see what happened." He avoided my questions.

I'm about to argue back but Jennie hold me back. "Jisoo stop it.. let's just go please."

"I have a bad feeling Jen.. I tried to call mom.. she isn't picking it.. what if something bad happened?" I couldn't help but tear up.

She only pat my back before pulling me towards the car. When we arrived my house, it was already sealed. I run inside, pushing away the police.

"Jisoo wait!" I heard Jennie said.

"MOM! DAD!" I called for them.

"Who are you!? Get out of here. It's a crime place!" One of the officer said angrily.

"Let her go.." Vernon comes behind me. "They are upstairs. Study room."

I already know what happened. I still don't want to accept it until I see them with my eyes. I run upstairs to the study room. The scene of the study room almost made me puke. A painful sob comes out. I sit on the floor crying uncontrollably. Their body parts are scattered on the floor. The whole room is covered with their blood. The police is collecting they body parts.

"My god!" I heard Jennie gasped.

"Fuck! She is being more brutal." Vernon said.

Two of the paramedics zipping up my parents bodies. "Leave them! Don't take them away." I tried to go to them.

Jennie hold me back, "chu.. let's get out of here. They need to clean up the place."

I pushed her away, "I'm not letting them take my parents away. I just can't. They are my only family. I-I have no one left now."

"I'm sorry. Please try to understand chu..." she try to hold my hand again.

"I SAID NO!! GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY MOM, DAD!" As I see them taking my parents dead bodies away.

"LEAVE ME JENNIE!! PLEASE DON'T TAKE THEM!! I'M  BEGGING PLEASE!!" I cried louder, struggling to get out of her hold.

It's killing me inside. What did I do that you are giving me punishment God? You could've killed me instead of them.

"Here drink some water.." Jennie hold a water bottle in front of me.

We are sitting in a room of the police station. I feeling numb. I want to die at this point.

"I understand what you are feeling right.. you need to be strong." She said, patting my shoulder.

I glared at her, "stop with those fuckibg sympathetic words!"

"W-what? I'm just trying to--"

"I told you not to show fake care. I don't want it." I looked away from her.

I don't want her to take advantage of my situation.

"I'm just trying to help you as a friend Jisoo. I know how hard it is."

I chuckled bitterly, "no you don't even imagine how much painful it is. Cause you still have your dad."

"No.. I don't." Her words shuts me up.

I stared at her. I can't see lie in her eyes.

"I lost my only family as well. Guess what? Your wife killed him." She said, giving me a small sad smile.
