The winds howled against Tikki, droplets of rain ushering on her face as she motioned through the storm. France, for all its history and glory was short a few love points from Tikki. Especially the rain. Somehow the weather got worse since her last visit here, since her sweet Joan of Arc.
How they betrayed you...She thought dimly. The betrayal and the weather she concluded, were things she'd never like in France.
She sighed in tune with the thunder, crossing birds who thought she was edible, rain as fast as bullets and lighting that for some reason had something against her.
Finally, at the dead of night when the moon shined brightest above the Earth did she reach Adrien's abode. He lived on the top floor, where there were a multitude of windows, she remembered.
It took her three seconds of flying to bump into a very heavy, and very smelly object.
"Ah!" She tumbled to the ground, though quickly evaded once more. "What in the-"
There she spotted the black object, recovering. "Owww..."
"Plagg?"
"Lovebug?" He rubbed his head."What are you doing here?!" She screeched, ducking as a single raindrop fell down.
"I could ask you the same thing!"
"To-" The water bullet went past Tikki, this time hitting part of her flipper.
"Lets get out of the rain first...ok..." He joined hands with her and led her into the house where Adrien slept.
The room was fairly dark, save for a few lights that beamed high on the walls; moderately decorated, polished in fact. It somewhat troubled her, she wasn't used to the lack of personality found in the room, and felt trapped despite the larger, more open area.
"You're sure he won't wake up?"
He laughed, loudly in fact. "Nope, you know one time he slept through the alert Ladybug sent out. Plus, he snores loudly- can't you hear him!?"
Tikki peaked through the tabloid they were sitting on. His snores were rather loud, but nothing like Marinettes, those were groundbreaking. "If you say so..." She huffed as she sat next to him, dangling her feet.
"I came to tell you something." Plagg scooched nearer. "Though I didn't expect to see you, Sugarcube." He grinned.
Quickly, she scooched farther, "I told you not to call me that!" But just as quickly regained her thoughts with a tilt of her head. "I came to tell you something too..."
"Well what is it, spill it- Actually nevermind. Mine is more important."
"Your camberlete is not as important as my information, Plagg!"
"My camberlete will always be more important than whatever you have to say!" He screeched, pointing towards his secret stash. "But it's not about that, it's far more important."
Silence.
"I think I saw Y/n."
They said in unison.
Both Kwami looked at each other in awe, as if they learned the information once again; eyes wide in surprise.
"And here I thought you weren't paying attention to your surroundings!" Tikki yelled, though quickly held her mouth as she peered at Adrien.
He continued snoring.
"I was! Well- I wasn't till I heard her voice. Adrien was talking to her ya know and well it didn't click till I took a peek."
