Rainfall was often paired with a dreariness that peeved most Parisians, yet for Adrien as he looked at the windows that showed the clouds; the drops sliding down and pooling at the edge, he couldn't help but feel relaxed. He leaned into the car seat, smiling softly. Perhaps this was instilled by his absent mother, who would play in the rain with him.

He sniffed. The car was rather warm despite the coldness protruding the window. He lightly tapped at it - frozen against his fingertips. His chauffeur was wearing a warm coat along with gloves for the steering wheel, though his beard must've helped too in keeping his temperature fair. Plagg in the meanwhile was moving a bit in his pocket, most likely eating some cheese he had given him earlier.

He put his hand inside, patting Plaggs head softly. Adrien wasn't expecting to wake up on such a site, the forecast earlier being sunny. But he didn't fret on it, unlike his friend and assistant Nathalie.

The morning was supposed to be planned and calculated, like always so she could easily prepare him for the events that day. Though it was an unlikely turn of events that must've stumbled her a bit, as she was late to waking him up. Still, she had given him a raincoat along with several garments of clothing for the cold.

"It's just a little rain?" he had told her, but she gave a brush on his collar and said to him - "You never know."

Though he supposed she was correct. The weather was oftentimes unpredictable, not that he minded. Life was better unknown, even if it's something small as the day's climate.

Or as small as his father saying good morning to him that day.

The school's steps pulled in view as he arrived. Some students wore rain coats such as he, others had umbrellas, but most were in the confines of the school no doubt, dry and happy.

With a grunt from his chaperone, he stepped outside of the car. Freezing wind struck his hair, and his breath which chilled from the outside force took smoke out of his throat. It was a simple fascination albeit strange, until that fascination turned to a grave sigh, seeing Chloe as she talked to Sabrina.

She hadn't caught him yet, though he knew she would in a few seconds, as she always did. These were the times he wished Plagg were human, had he been he might've resulted in a great cover to her annoyance.

"Hellooo Adrikins!!"

He internally groaned.

She walked towards him as the car pulled away. "Hello, Chloe." He mumbled. Two steps in and he was bombarded with the sticky gloss on his cheeks. She was always adamant on kissing him when meeting up, much to his displeasure.

"Agh- Chloe!" He tried his best not to push her off, but it was becoming more demanding and intrusive as she continued to hug him.

"You know, I sent you an invite for my party!" She wrapped her arms around him. "And you know, you never answered..." She pouted, looking directly at him. She wore an expensive coat, probably stuffed with real animal fur, no doubt. Yet she still rubbed herself on him, despite having been hit with some rain on his way here.

Adrien exhaled. He was sure he would've seen or read the invite, even if he did not like the girl, he wouldn't be so rude as to not at least acknowledge her.

'So why didn't I see it...?' He thought to himself. It was likely his father, or even nathalie threw it away. He was never allowed to attend such events, so he wouldn't be surprised.
