You blinked. Once, twice. You felt your breath enter your body. You felt the burning cease, and your being return. Your eyesight was still blurry, still recovering, but within a couple of seconds it showed the world once more.

You were at the school again, or well the hallway. The same windows that cut you, the same walls that stuck to your skin. It was all fixed, as if nothing ever happened. You wanted to say you were crazy, and such a notion would be suitable for the experience; but something told you everything was very much real.

You touched your arms, your legs and hands. The bruises were gone, the cuts faded.

'As if nothing ever happened...' you repeated.

The sensation of disappearing and reappearing, the way you saw yourself evaporate, burn. You had to lean on the wall, shivering. You clutched at your chest, and felt the smooth handle of your umbrella doing so.

It was a surprising sight, and all too worrisome. Everything was strange today, and yet it happens frequently. Such a thought was enough to deter you, but you simply gazed at the umbrella.

It was broken, should've been broken...but here it was fixed.

You opened your palms.

The last time you saw them they were cut and bruised, not fleshy and smooth. Blood was dripping from your inner skin, purple was the color of your hands, yet now it was gone. The colors were gone. The hallway should've been smashed and destroyed, and you should've been dead.

So many should haves not enough are's or is.

Your mind swerved and you furrowed your eyes, palms clenching.

'Ladybug fixed it.'

It was a sentence that repeated in your mind. Like a mantra unspoken, tipped with the golden edge of fear. Is this what they meant? That great ball of fire that swooshed over the land, taking all of its occupants? That very thing that ignited like a thousand suns?

How could anybody find this normal?

"I'm so sorry!" You heard, but it wasn't directed at you. You looked behind, where a window resided. The voice came from outside, loud and clear and not at all muffled.

The window.

You looked.

You saw.

The boy and the damn villain, they were there crying and joining in hands and bodies. They were hugging each other tightly. Promises and apologies were made there, said there, yet you looked the other way to where Ladybug and Chat Noir settled.

You felt your heart beat fast, but not for excitement or love or even appreciation - but of fear. Two super beings, capable of whatever they please. Your eyes rested on Ladybug. You weren't sure of Chat Noir's ability, having never seen or felt it- however you did feel hers. If it was anything like Ladybugs, god-forbid - then how much damage can he do?

They fistbumped each other, saying something in a low tone as they waved goodbye. They left in opposite directions, a queer sight for you.

However you shook your head. You didn't care, you only wanted to go home.

Then a dreary idea rested in your head.

Adrien.

Where was Adrien? Why wasn't he here, he should've transmigrated to this hallway, or maybe the stairwell? You ran. Your heart raced even harder than before. If he didn't transmigrate here, or anywhere could that mean he died?
