AHHH I feel very guilty saying this- but sadly I will be taking a somewhat long hiatus. My school just announced we are coming back on August eighth, and its quite near. I want to enjoy it without having to spend so much time on perfecting and writing each chapter (plus I was finally feeling the consequence of doing it weekly-) It will probably take another week after being in school for me to publish a chapter, but I will be back, that I promise you. (I have so many Ideas that need to be written, so don't worry I WILL come back)

"Y/n," It was light and femine, with a power that brought the forest to its knees.
You turned, expecting a human, a woman that equaled such an image of pure authority; But what you saw was not what you expected, strange in all forms possible.
A deer watched you, tilting her head as her black eyes stared on. Never had you seen such irises consume your own, dark as the pit of hell that sprouted the creature. Yet her gaze was not angry or cruel, but suspicious and careful.
"I didn't expect to find you here." She spoke again, kinder this time. Yet you followed her body with a slight discomfort. She stood ten foot tall, with horns abnormal to the animal it represented; though, you thought to yourself - everything about the creature was abnormal.
You rocked your heels.
Cold mud stuck between the crevices of your feet and it was with the chill that reached your body did you finally look around.
You were confident you had seen this place before, but couldn't quite make out every feature. It represented a memory, where only the key points of the area were noticed.
It was nighttime, cold and wet. To your left housed a large lake that seized the horizon, stretching the round corners. To your right was a behemoth of overgrowth; mushrooms, flowers, shrubs and plants grew comfortably. Finally, to your front, aside from the strange being were trees as tall as the sky; its branches caressed the clouds.
"Y/n? Is something the matter?" The creature said.
You jumped slightly, lifting your tongue to speak but rolled it back. You motioned your hands to the front of your face, staring at them expectedly.
Yes, it was all a haze. Key points - remember, key points.
There was a roundabout of silence, and at the seventh second you spoke.
"Huiqing?" Your eyes widened.
It would appear you knew this creature. Her name curiously went out of your mouth, as if you said it a hundred times before. "Huiqing." You repeated, just beneath your breath.
You felt your throat open, your mouth limbered a pause. "Is something the matter?"
How unusual. You spoke without speaking, without doing. More-so, it was in a language you didn't recognize. The octave it rested, the way it slurred. So different from how you would speak, the way you learned. It felt ancient, crude in how it formed its sounds - yet so nostalgic.
The deer stepped forward, one hoof hesitating, one ear quillving. "I must confess," She started, almost lamenting. "I came here not to chatter plainly but- my guardian, I truly heed against Arindam." She stuck to her pride, bowing slightly, yet eyes narrowing. "I understand, despite how much I reject the notion of this proposal and complain about it, I do understand. However- Adrindam won't. I can find better suitors to hold-"
"Huiqing." You said quickly, the past usage of love now gone to a freezing sigh.
Her nostrils flared. "Please, Y/n. Arindam is immature and hard to control-"
