Today is Tuesday, September first, two thousand and thirty six and Lianna is tired, very tired. She had stayed most of the night up staring at the ceiling, softly smiling as she heard the slight snores of the boy next to her who had his arm draped around her chest. Juneau was cuddled against him, in retrospect it seemed like they were one happy family and she was happy because of it.
She couldn't tell what time it was but by the light that came through the curtains it was at least around six in the morning, the time that she should be getting ready to leave around 6:45 to get to the mental hospital.
"Tobi." She whispers, taking his arm by his wrist, trying to move it, yet the boy toughens his grip, grabbing onto her waist again and pulling her closer so that she faces him on her side. "My god." The girl curses under her breath, looking directly at the boy's face. Leaning closer she gently kisses his lips, hoping that that would be able to let her get up and do her morning routine.
"I want you to stay." Tobias grumbles, pressing the girl against him some more.
"But I have to go to work."
"No, stay with me for the day."
"But I have to go commit money making."
"Honeyyyyyyy" he whines, peppering her face with kisses as his dark eyes show small malicious grins. "Don't leave me."
"Babe, let me leave please." The boy surrenders, opening his arms for the girl to get up in which she does, leaning over to give him a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you. Now get up, you have work to do."
He groans but sits up with the girl, looking at Juneau who was still sleeping soundly, his nose twitching. "He must be having a good dream."
"He probably is, chasing squirrels and rabbits and the walks we have everyday." She smiles, moving to get off the bed and stretch. Her shirt goes up a little bit which makes the boy stare a little bit. "I know you're staring."
"How did you know?"
"So you're not denying it?"
"Not the current question, how did you know?" He repeats, moving to wake the dog up.
"The mirror, I saw that you were looking at me so why not give you a bit of a show."
"You're delusional." The girl rolls her eyes, grinning.
"Whatever, now I'm gonna go change."
"Remember to take your meds, they should be on your dresser."
"Alright dad, I'll go do that, come on Junie." The dog's ears perk up again at the name, looking up at the girl before getting up and following her out the door. "I'll see you downstairs alright?" He nods, telling his Alexa to turn on the lights to his room.
Lianna goes back to her room, getting changed into a white button down shirt and black shorts, tucking in the shirt so that she would come off as a bit more classy. Getting herself ready she looks in her long mirror checking over everything again and again and again.
"Okay, everything's done now I just need..." She looks at her dresser where a bottle sits, her anxiety medication, looking around she finds her water bottle and takes a few swigs of the lukewarm liquid, looking at the two pills in her hand before taking one into her mouth with the water, swallowing it and repeating it a second time.
Man, this sucks, but anything to be mentally stable.
Getting the last of her things into her messenger bag she walks out of her room and down the stairs to see that Marce was sleeping on the couch and Tobias is in the kitchen.
