Mei: oh my gosh I stayed calm! Something about you guys neutralizes the panda.
Miriam: It's our love.
Jia: we'll help you control the panda
Priya: We're like a warm and fuzzy blanket.
Abby: Yeah!
Mei: This means I can have my room back. I can have my life back!
Miriam: No. Even better. You and Jia can come with us to 4 Town!
Mei and Jia: what?
Miriam: This could be our only chance to see them together. We're all asking our parents tonight.
Jia: I don't know guys. It seems to risky
Mei: Jia is right and i can't ask my mom. I'm a furry ticking time bomb!
Miriam: Of awesomeness! And now you can control it! So just prove it to her and she's gotta let you go! Plus Jia will be there to back you up
Suddenly Mei and Jia heard there mom walking towards there room
Mei: You guys better go.
Miriam abby and Priya left through the window and Mei closed the curtains. Then ming entered the room
Ming: Everything okay? I thought I heard-
Mei: Mom I think we made a breakthrough.

In the dining room ming, jin and Jia were ready to test if Mei could control her panda.
Jia: you ready Mei?
Mei: yes.
Ming: Deforestation. Sad orangutan. Your second place spelling bee trophy.
Mei was about to cry but she thought of her friends and sister comforting her and was able to stay calm
Mei: what a shame
Everyone was impressed but jin brought a box to the table opened it and there were baby kittens inside
Mei: so cute! So fuzzy! Must resist!

Her parents and sister were so really surprised
Ming: How is this possible? What happened to your panda?
Mei: It's easy. When I start to get emotional all I do is imagine the people I love most in the whole world. Which is you guys and Jia.
Ming hugged Mei but Jia was confused on why Mei didn't tell there parents that Mei thought of her friends to stay calm
Mei: So, now that that's settled, I just have one tiny favor to ask.

In the living room Mei explained why she and Jia should go see 4 town. Mei had a slideshow for the reasons why and was even holding sparklers
Ming: No. Absolutely not.
Mei: What?!
The sparklers went out and she threw them on the floor
Mei: what?! But this is once once in a lifetime!
Ming: it's one thing to stay calm at home or school, but a concert? You'll get whipped up into a frenzy and panda all over the place.
Mei: I won't! I won't! I promise! You saw me keep it in! Jia will be there to help me stay calm!
Jia: I don't know Mei. Im starting to rethink this. The whole point of concerts is to get excited.
Jin: maybe we should trust her
Ming: It's them I don't trust. Look at those glittery delinquents with their gyrations. Why on earth do you want to go so badly?
Mei thought about how much fun she would have
Mei: Like I said I just want to broaden my musical horizons.
Ming: This isn't music. This is filth. And it's not worth jeopardizing your life over. Right jin?
Jin: uh...
Ming: See? Your father agrees and so does your sister. No concert and that's final.
Mei: Okay well thanks for listening. Good night.
Jia and Mei went back to there room and went to bed

The next day at school Mei Jia Priya Miriam and Abby were playing dodgeball outside
Mei: That presentation was awesome. I cited all my sources. I had sparklers. And she still said no! Jia I thought you would back me up when you sided with mom.
Jia: i'm just trying to look out for you
Priya: My parents said I could go when I'm 30
Abby: I'm called it inappropriate music. What's wrong with that?
