Regret and confusion

Sunlight shone through glass panes Lighting up Genes room.Lilas heavy eyes flickered as she began to realise were she was.She was in Gene Gallagher room her supposed sworn enemy with lips  swollen coverd in regret.However her mind grew at ease as she realised she wasn't completely naked and  it hadn't gone further than a kiss.All though that didn't stop the invasive thoughts dancing round her mind as regret stole the show and her anxiety began to swollen her whole.Slowly she crept of the bed and began to search for her clothes.Unable to find them and growing conscious of time, as she didn't want Gene to wake up, so she grabbed an old band t-shirt of his which sat just below her mind thigh and snuck off into the dawn leaving only behind her faint scent on his pillow.Finally once she got home she immersed herself in comfort as she lit a joint and began to watch the parent trap

Back in Genes flat
People were draped on the black sofa as they recovered from their hangover and in the room next to genes Iris and Lennon lay peacefully" lila just texted saying she left ,me and flo will have to leave soon"Lennons eyes flicked astounded by the girls natural beauty and oblivious to what she said as he was in such a trance"Iris I really enjoyed last night you know I can't believe you actually showed up to my gig"she laughed as he was oblivious to her crush"are you joking I wouldn't miss it"she replied giving him a quick kiss

While the new lovebirds cozied up in the room next door Gene was left confused and upset.He woke up alone and cold as only faint trace of lila was to be found in his bed.All though he was drunk last night no way could he forget those kisses.Even though their past haunted him now his mind could only associate her with those beautiful moments.Anxiety filled him as he wannted to text to see if she was ok but he didn't want to seem needy as she has clearly snuck out this morning for a reason.White linens lay under his pillow at first this confused him until he realised it was lilas dress a perfect reason to text to so as he sat trying,deleting and retyping messages until he settled on

LILA

You left your dress here last night I can come drop it by later if you want?

Quickly he shut off his phone to nervous for a reply and joined the others in the kitchen.Flossie spoke softly to brossy"do you know where Lila went last night"Brossy sighed as he was the one who  stumbled in on the two last night.He scratched the back of his neck unsure if he should lie "umm nope don't think she probably just crashed she was pretty drunk"Flossie looked confused as Lila was never one to wonder off and not tell them were she was going"yeah I guess probably me and Iris are gonna go try find her I'll see you tommow night yeah? At heaven?"she asked eager to see the dear friend again"defo I'll try get them boys to come to"

The flat was now pretty much empty as the Gallagher brothers were contemplating in their beds playing out the night.
