"Can you walk?" My mom asked me as I stood up from the hospital bed.
"Mhm." I said as I began to walk but Nariyah held onto me anyways.
"Best you gotta take it easy." Nariyah said.
"I got it, i'm okay." I mumbled going into the bathroom. I put my hands on the sink and stared at myself in the mirror.
I zoned out until I heard a knock on the door making me jump.
"They're ready to do an ultrasound." My mom said and I opened the door walking over to the bed as Nariyah fluffed my pillow.
"Want you to be as comfortable as possible."
She said.
"Thank you." I smiled laying back down on the bed.
"I wanna wait until Makai comes back." I said.
"That's fine with me how have you been feeling?"
Dr. Liza asked.
"I'm okay I just been getting headaches." I said.
"I'll make sure to ask Dr.Lewis to prescribe you some pills for the headaches." She said.
"I- um I can't take pills it has to be a liquid or something." I said.
"Alrighty no problem I'll be right back." She said.
