"Anti?"
It all made sense now.
But at the same time...
"Hey, brat!"
None of it made sense at all.
What did that old man do?
It was obvious now- Markiplier killed Henrik.
But why?
"Anti, get up. Please?"
Anti snapped out of it, hearing Damien's voice. He bolted up and hit his head against someone else's, "AH! You little shit!" Celine cursed at him, reeling back. But Anti didn't care. He pulled Damien and Celine into a tight hug, looking past them to see an uncomfortable Demon. "Alright, alright... Let go, brat..." Celine murmured affectionately, but Damien wasn't having any of that shite. "Celine! He just went through something extremely traumatic! Especially with his mental state... I know you don't mean it, but... Can you stop being harsh for just one minute? Please?"
Anti sighed and let go, giving Damien a soft smile, "it's okay." He instead turned to his next victim, and made grabby hands towards Demon. "Wh-What?" Demon didn't understand, but came up anyway. Anti engulfed him in a bear hug. "You're my friend, too... I'm sorry I hit you." Demon chuckled a bit, but words couldn't describe how happy he felt. He gently hugged the glitch back. "Even if you're ugly."
Demon sharply pushed the glitch away, "HEY! That's it, we're done. Moment ruined." "I was joking! I w-was joking! Heheh!" Anti wheezed, "You're very handsome." He looked up and smiled at the bastard. "You all broke ME first, I deserve some revenge." Anti felt as if the missing pieces of his heart had been put back in place- although still broken.
"So... That bastard killed you two, my father, and a bunch of other people?" Anti sighed, going back to the point at hand. He couldn't stay here forever- dead or not. The others looked hesitant to talk about it, but Celine took over. "Yes. And that's not all that he's done." Anti tilted his head. "Think back to October 2016. Look closer than what you did... What did you feel?" Anti cringed, "I don't fooking know, I felt nothin'. A bit confused, but that's it... Why?" He REALLY didn't like where this is going.
"Anti... We used to have... Strings on us. Actor... Markiplier... Could very well make us do whatever he wanted us to do. We broke free of those, because the second you realize he ever did- the hold is broken." Celine grabbed Anti's shoulder, gently tilting his head up to look her in the eyes. "Are you saying...?" "Shh..." Celine smiled. "It's okay, Anti." Damien came up and ruffled Anti's hair.
"He... He..."
Tears made their way down his face for one of the last times.
"He didn't die because of me..."
Anti took a step back, smiling ever so slightly... It was truly a bittersweet feeling.
"He died for me..."
