Beep... Beep... Beep...
Anti's eyes fluttered opened, but immediately shut again. He groaned at all the noise and lights. He peeked his eyes back open.
"There he is! He's awake!"
Dr. Iplier and Wilford looked overjoyed, Wil launching himself at Anti. Anti cringed into the hug- remembering the bullet hole that was in him about half an hour ago- but hugged back anyway. That got him wondering just WHO the District Attorney was... But he didn't dwell on it as he saw Dark hooked up to a bunch of machinery. "WHAT THE FOOK?! Is he okay?! He was FINE just a minute ago!" Anti jumped out of bed and ran to his friend's side. "He'll be fine when his souls return... It's really hard keeping his body 'alive' with the souls gone." Dr. Iplier glared at Wilford. Anti remembered that this body was, in fact, dead before. But that didn't ease his worry.
Slowly, the color returned to Dark- not skin wise, he was still grey- suggesting the souls had returned. Anti had never thought he would be so happy to see those weird highlights on Dark! "Welcome back, sleepy-head!" He giggled as Dark bolted up. "Sleepy-head?! YOU'RE the sleepy-head, dumbass!" Dark hit Anti on the head, "that's for being STUPID and never LISTENING! Maybe, since you learned the HARD WAY this time- next time you'll listen to me!" Anti pouted, "with all the shit I've been through today... You'd think I'd ALREADY paid enough for my actions!"
Dark's eyes flickered, "I'm glad you're back..." Dark pulled Anti into a short embrace, before Anti pulled away and gave him a look. "...Really? You already want something?" Dark sighed, "What is it now?"
"Take me to Henrik's grave tomorrow."
Dark blinked in shock, his gaze softening and flashing blue, "oh... You could've just asked straight out... I won't stop you from going, but I certainly won't let you go alone."
"Um... Actually, that may be a bad idea. It's the day after the funeral- a bunch of people are going there again to do one last thing for Henrik. INCLUDING Henrik's family." Dr. Iplier coughed. At first, Anti was shocked it hadn't been at least a full day but didn't question it. "Even better." His gaze hardened. He didn't care about the Septics anymore, he wasn't guilty. "Alright, if you're sure. Just make sure to check your pockets." Dark chuckled, pushing Anti off of him.
Anti rose a brow but checked them anyway, finding a letter addressed to Henrik's kids and ex wife... "MAGIC!" Dark grinned and did jazz-hands, imitating Marvin. Anti burst out laughing as Dark wiggled his eyebrows.
And he started to remember why he loved the Ipliers so much.
