Chapter 1: Bitten

~~Season 1 Episode 1: Wolf Moon~~

~~No one's P. O. V~~

As the moon shines down on the beacon hills preserve darkness is looming and as the dark night with the slight brightness of the full moon cops and dog's scourer the preserve all lined up some with dogs, some without. With now the lights from their flashlights they look back and forth as the moon still shines down into the darkness of the woods. 

While an unsuspecting teen by the name of Scott Mccall is fixing his lacrosse stick, doing pull us and brushing his teeth when he hears something rustling outside. Thinking it could be a predator grabs his mom's bat to investigate and is met with his friend hanging upside down scaring the life from him. 

They both scream and Scott is now very upset "STILES!!! WHAT THE Hell are you doing!" Stiles responds almost as if disappointed "You weren't answering your phone. 

Why do you have a bat?" Scott looks to the bat in his hands and answers letting out a breath "I thought you were a predator." 

Stiles stutters as he says in almost disbelief "A Pred. . . ah look I know it's late, but you got to hear this. Saw my dad leave 20 minuets ago, dispatch called their bringing in every officer from the beacon department and even state police." 

Scott asks getting somewhat annoyed "For what?" Stiles then answers a matter a factly "Two joggers found a body in the woods." 

As Stiles gets down from hanging Scott asks after Stiles is on the ground "A dead body?" Stiles jumps up putting his arms on the wooden railing responding to Scott with a sarcastic response "No a body of water, Yes, dumb ass a dead body!" 

Stiles then climbs over the railing onto the walkway porch of Scotts house and Scott says, "You mean like murdered?" 

Stiles looks at his friend with his hands on his hips saying, "Nobody knows yet, just that it was a girl probably in her twenties." 

Something just occurs to Scott, and he says, "Woah hold on if they found the body then what are they looking for?" 

Stiles smiles saying with joy in his tone "That's the best part! They only found half. We're going." They arrive at the beacon hills preserve and once out of the jeep Scott says dreadfully "We're seriously doing this?" 

As they move from the jeep they meet at the head of the jeep as Stiles says slapping Scott on the shoulder "You're the one always bitching, that nothing ever happens in this town."

Scott then adds "I, I was trying to get a good night's sleep before practice tomorrow." Then Stiles quickly says "Right! Cause sitting on the bench is such a grueling effort." 

Scott responds "No. Because. I'm playing this year; In fact, I'm making first line." Stiles then says "Hey that's the spirit! Everyone should have a dream even a pathetically unrealistic one." 

Scott scoffs shaking his head and then asks, "Just out of curiosity, which half of the body are we looking for?" 

Stiles slows down stopping for a split second before realizing as he says "Huh, I didn't even think about that." He laughs after and Scott asks with a smile on his face "And uh. What if whoever killed the body is still out here?" 

Stiles nods admitting "Also something I didn't think about." As Scott and Stiles climb a hill Scott start to lose breath asking as he leans against a tree grabbing an inhaler from his jacket pocket "It's comforting to know you've planned this out with your usual attention to detail." 

Stiles then says letting out a breath as he speaks "I know." Scott now leaning against the tree says while pulling out the inhaler and shaking it before inhaling it "Maybe the sever asthmatic should be the one holding the flashlight huh?"
