Chapter Nineteen

I was angry really angry at her, how could someone be so stupid. If I didn't got there at right time she would have been died, how could she go somewhere without even checking any authentication.

   It was a relief that I got there on time otherwise that men could have killed her in cold blood. I was informed by Enzo about this because I told him to keep an eye on her.

   We got to know something really important information about her father and that led us to know that someone is trying to kill her. They wanted me to kill her that's why they made her deliver that file to me.

   Just because I didn't killed her they tried to take a different approach. One thing we couldn't find was that why they want to kill her.

   I don't know if I should tell her about this or not but it is important for her to know otherwise she would again make stupid decisions and will get herself killed.

   I just realised something today that I can't let her die, I don't know what it is but I want to protect her no matter what.

   She was thanking me and looking at me with those beautiful innocent eyes and I hugged her once again. I wanted to do that for a long time. She was unaware and confused that someone wants her dead. She doesn't know that it's her own father who wants her dead.

    I decided to not tell her about this for the time being before I get to the reason behind this. And looking at her now I don't want her to be more stressed.

   I took her hands in mine and told her "You should be careful for now".

"I will be from now on, but I can't understand why someone wants to kill me. I don't even know many people, what harm did I do to someone that they don't even want me to exist." she said.

"Did that guy told you this" I asked and she nodded in yes.

"What more did he said" I asked because maybe it could make us understand the motive behind this.

"He told me they were looking for me and I wasn't suppose to exist also they wanted someone else to kill me but that didn't happen so he came to finish the job" she said and I could see her shuddering at the thought of someone wanting her dead.

   With what she told me I can see that they didn't know about her existence much before. That maybe the reason they are coming for her now. Also they wanted me to kill her.

"From now on you will inform me if you are going anywhere or you can tell Enzo too" I told her.

"I couldn't be able to go anywhere for now. That creepy men will not go out of my head for sometime or ever but I have to move out from here too" she said.

"Why do you want to move out, you can live here for as much as you want" I told her.

"Thankyou for the generosity Mr Romano but if I stayed more days, I would go insane with the looks and gossips going around here about us" she said.

"What kind of gossips" I asked.

   She looked at the floor and said "They are not much decent to talk about".

   By seeing her expression I got the idea what they must be saying. I did her a big favour so they must be thinking that she is sleeping her way up or something like that.

"Are they thinking about us sleeping together and even if they are thinking  what is so wrong about it." I teased her because I know she won't like it.

   She looked at me with her mouth open in surprise "How can you say something like that so lightly, it must be not a big deal for you but for me it is because they are thinking wrong, we aren't sleeping together". She said getting annoyed by my words.

"So we can make it right if you want to" I said smirking at her.

Aria

What the hell, he wants to make those gossips right. I was shocked, I never expected that comeback from him. He said it so easily that it's not a big deal.

"What do you mean we should make it right" I said.

   He came closer to my ear "You know what I mean Miss Rose, you are here with me in my house we can make that gossip right about us don't you think" he said and he had that evil smirk on his face.

   And there goes my sanity, I was speechless. He didn't know he is making my legs like jelly by saying something like that. I was stunned by his suggestions and I may agree also.

   Then I remembered he is my boss and he is not a normal person. He deal with illegal things, maybe he can kill someone too. He live in a dangerous world which I don't even know about. I can't fall for him or can have any connection with him.

"I think I should go back to my room sir" I said wanting to get out of this situation before I loose my whole sanity.

   I just moved towards the door and as I was unlocking it he spoke, "wait Miss Rose, there is something you should be careful about as I said before, don't go anywhere without telling me and don't tell anyone about what happened today".

   I turned around and asked something I wanted to ask for a long time, "Can I ask you something" I asked.

  He just nodded for me to continue,
"Why are you doing all of this for me" I asked.

   He didn't say anything for a few minutes and I thought that I have crossed the line asking him this but I really wanted to know.

"I just want to find out my enemy who made me lose so much in just a week" he said and that broke my heart.

   I just don't know why I thought his answer would be something different that I don't even deserve to think of. It's obvious I was just a stranger to him, I was being stupid of hoping for something more.

  I nodded and left from there feeling a little emotional with what he said.
