We drove to her condo and shocks, ang lapit lang talaga sa condo namin. About 2 blocks away. She gave me her address before I started driving. We were driving in a comfortable silence while Joji's Sanctuary is playing on the radio.When we stopped on a red light, I took a quick glance at her and realized she's already fallen asleep. Pagod na pagod nga, kawawa naman. I just let her nap. Gigisingin ko nalang once we get to the destination. She looks so peaceful sleeping and I figured she must've had a very exhausting past few months, preparing for the CDC.
After a few minutes of driving we eventually got to her building. Medyo nahiya pa ko gisingin sya pero I have to para makapag pahinga na rin sya nang maayos. I got closer to her and I was able to examine her face. She looks so peaceful and her long lashes makes her look like a doll. I can also hear her soft breath and before I could drown in the peacefulness of the sight, I decided to gently tap her shoulder
Y/n pov
I woke up a bit disoriented. Nakatulog na pala ako sa car ni Tricia, nakakahiya. I woke up with her face close to mine. She softly said hi and narealize ko nandito na kame sa place ko. I invited her sa unit pero she politely declined - hinahanap na daw siya ng mama nya. Lol ang cute talaga ng thought. I have her a hug her before I went out of her car as a way to thank her. I am naturally a hugger so I hope she didn't mind. But something caught my attention - Ang bango nya - she smells so expensive. Her perfume has a hint of fruity scent na may subtle lavender scent and it wasn't strong pero it was comforting - like her presence. I thanked her once again and started getting out of her car
But before I closed the door she called for me
T: "Uh y/n," I looked at her silently asking her to go on, and I got excited with her next words "can we like, uhm hang out sometime?" "Oh ofcourse I'd love that." and with that she left na after saying our goodbyes again.
Tricia pov:
I was caught off guard when she hugged me. Her embrace was so comforting and warm - like her presence. I didn't get the chance to hug her back because I was too stunned. Before I know it, she's already unbuckling her seatbelt - ready to leave. Fortunately, I snapped out of my trance and came back to my senses. I asked her to hang out before she completely turned her back. She agreed and it got me smiling from ear to hear. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face as I was driving home. What a day.
T: Uhm wait,
Y/n *just looked at me and waited for what I was about to say
T: Do you maybe want to hang out soon?
y/n: yeah ofcourse sounds
The interaction kept playing in mind the whole drive home
