Y/n pov:
Well that was awkward I don't want Tricia to pity me pero ang uncomfortable when that Patrick came parang nakalimutan ni Tricia na may kasama sya. Hindi naman ako galit but I guess I got too comfortable with her way too soon. I shouldn't have accepted the invite. Although masaya akong nameet ko si VP sa dinner na yun.
It's been 2 days since I last saw and talked to Tricia she must've realized how much of a loser I am by now. Compared to that Patrick na ang galing makipag socialize I was such an awkward potato. So much for a "CHEER LEADER", ha. Cheerleader na walang ka cheer cheer makipag usap.
Today is a Friday and I only have one class in the morning then I'm going to meet my teammates later for lunch. We do this often para hindi puro training lang minsan nagbbond din kame. We spend a lot of time together na kami kami na rin talaga magkakaibigan sa campus.
By 12nn tapos na ang class nya and she headed na to the restaurant with her co captain, Ralph.
They went inside the restaurant where their other teammates were and as she was walking past the tables, Ralph stopped her "Uy si Tricia yun diba? Tricia!" he called.
Ralph met Tricia when they volunteered at the rally and he was already familiar with her since she's the Vice president's daughter, obviously. Ralph is also the guy talking to y/n when Tricia first spotted her at the victory party after CDC. Close talaga sila ni y/n kaya madalas siya yung bantay kay y/n na parang kuya.
Medyo nagulat naman si Y/n ang liit talaga ng mundo nilang dalawa. As she was looking where Ralph was pointing at, nakita nya si Tricia may kasama sa table. Hinila sya ni Ralph para lumapit.
Tricia: Uy helloo helloo andito rin pala kayo *tumayo naman to at bumeso sa dalawa*
Hindi masyadong makatingin si y/n pero nahihiyang bumeso na rin naman sa kaibigan.
Tricia: Btw, this is Patrick, childhood friend ko. Patrick, si Ralph and si Y/n mga taga y/d/s.
Patrick: You seem familiar? *Patrick said about y.n*
Tricia: Yeah she was at the dinner with mama and the volunteers hindi ko lang kayo naintroduce I got overwhelmed.
Nag hello lang si Ralph at si y/n ay ngumiti lang. At palihim na hinila na neto si Ralph. Natawa nalang si Tricia sa inasal ng kaibigan but at the same time still worried about what happened when they last saw each other. Ayaw nya lang ipahalata kay Patrick.
Tricia: That was the famous y/n ang galing na cheer captain pero sobrang mahiyain in real life.
Patrick: Ah kaya pala parang hindi makatingin akala ko napapangitan sakin eh
Tricia: Sira! Kain na nga
Habang kumakain si Tricia ay sinisilip silip nya naman si Y/n na nakaupo sa bandang looban na ng restaurant. Gusto nya pa sanang lumapit pero ayaw nya na muna guluhin ang kaibigan habang kumakain at hindi rin naman sya neto halos inacknowledge.
Nang natapos na sila ay lumapit sya sa table nila y/n para sana magpaalam na mauuna.
Tricia: Hi Y/n, una na kame. Bye everyone.
Ralph: Uy may party pala yung team mamaya sa *place*. Sama kayo! Sama mo si Patrick.
*nakatitig lang si Tricia kay y/n at iniisip kung paano nya makakausap nang solo ang kaibigan*
Patrick: Tricia? Kinalabit nito ang dalaga
Tricia: ha- ha ano yun sorry?
Ralph: Sabi ko, sama kayo mamaya sa party.
Tricia: *Turns to Patrick* "ano, g? Y/n, will you be there?"
Y/n: uhh hmm? Ako? Ah- oo.
Patrick: Sounds fun. Sige kung ok lang, g ako.
Tricia: Great! Then we're coming.
Rafa: Yan sige see you 8pm.
Umalis na sila at naiwan si y/n with her team.

Tricia arrived with Patrick at around 8:20pm. Everyone we're already drinking and having conversation in groups. She instantly looked for Y/n but her teammates said she'll be late as she's still working on a school paper. Marami syang backlogs due to the CDC.
Tricia and Patrick got acquainted with everyone and they were enjoying themselves naman but they almost didn't leave each other's side. Tricia was making sure that his childhood friend is comfortable cause he's not from the area since he grew up in Naga and finished medicine in New York.
Tricia got stuck in a conversation with some of the people she met that she didn't notice y/n has arrived about an hour ago. And as usual, she stayed in a corner with her coke.
Tricia was about to go pee when she saw her friend with a guy. It was the same guy na nakita nyang nagpapicture and nag bigay ng coffee kay y/n nung rally. He just said something that made y/n laugh although Tricia couldn't hear their conversation. She contemplated whether she would approach them but decided against it.
She proceeded to the bathroom and for some unknown reason she felt heavy. She looked herself in the mirror "Ano nangyayare sayo Tricia? Lasing ka na ba? Why is your heart suddenly so heavy?" she was now talking to herself in the mirror. "Eh sino ba kase yun aligid nang aligid kay y/n? Akala ko ba mahiyain sya baket nya ineentertain yun baket gusto nya ba yun?" "ughhh I am probably drunk. I've had a tiring day at school and I barely had sleep kaya madali nalang akong tinamaan. That's probably it." "Pero hindi ko parin gustong may dikit nang dikit kay y/n. Manliligaw nya ba yun? Jowa? wtf "
Lumabas na ulet sya ng cr and continued drinking with the others. She didn't bother approaching y/n anymore. "Pag ako ang tipid tipid sumagot, hindi pa makatingin pero yang lalaki na she barely knew, nakikipagtawanan agad. Wow ha" she thought to herself.
After 2 more hours, Tricia was already so drunk and hinahanap nya nanaman si Y/n.
Patrick: Uy san ka punta? Kaya mo pa ba? Sorry I got caught up with a conversation I didnt realize dami mo na pala atang nainom
Tricia: *Slurring her words* yeah im fine. Im just gonna use the lady's room brb
Patrick: Ok I can't accompany you there pero pag balik mo uwi na tayo ha? Hahatid na kita.
Tricia: whatevs
She walked away but she didn't go to the direction of the bathroom she went around looking for Y/n and she saw her still with the same guy but they weren't talking. Y/n was busy on her phone
Tricia: Y/n! "Medyo malakas na tawag nito na pati ang binata ay napalingon
Y/n: Oh T- Trish- Tricia. Baket?
Tricia: Can I talk to you?
y/n stood from her seat and followed Tricia outside the club.
They found a spot where it's just the two of them and none of them were talking till Tricia broke the silence
Tricia: Y/n?
Y/n just turned her head on Tricia and didn't respond
Tricia: Who is he?
Y/n: Who's he??
Tricia: That guy who's always with you. Is he your boyfriend?
Y/n gave confused look
Tricia: The guy you have been laughing with the whole night?! She sounded sarcastic
Y/n: You mean Miggy?
Tricia: Whatever his name is. Are you dating him?
Y/n: what?
Tricia: why aren't you answering my question?? You left me the other night at dinner, you didn't text me back and now you're answering my questions with questions!
Y/n: Why do you sound angry?
Tricia: I mean I know may atraso pa ko sayo for neglecting you sa dinner with mama and I understand if youre mad at me-
Y/n: Why would I be mad about that Tricia, I don't need a baby sitter.
Tricia: I promised na hindi kita papabayaan and I know how your anxiety gets triggered in social situations kaya please what makes him different? why are you letting him be around you so much?
Y/n: What are you on?! You can't tell me who I can and can't hang out with
Tricia: Y/n why aren't you giving me answers?! Boyfriend mo ba yun? *Tricia raised her voice*
Y/n flinched because of Tricia's voice
Y/n: Cause you're so random and please don't raise your voice at me *y/n backed away and lowered her head down avoiding eye contact*
Tricia: wait, no im sorry please- I didnt mean to *Tricia went closer and reached for y/n's hands. y/n let her hold her hand.
Y/n: It's fine. But what is really going on with you Tricia? *y/n said softly holding her friend's hand* Are you drunk? You shouldn't be drinking much. Well Miggy is-
Y/n was interrupted when Patrick suddenly appeared approaching Tricia
Patrick: There you are I've been looking for you
Y/n abruptly put down Tricia's hands when she saw Patrick. Her expression turning sour again as if she wasn't being soft to Tricia just a while ago
Tricia: Wait y/n what were you about to sa- *uwahh* Tricia started feeling nauseous and Patrick was quick to support her and helped her as she hurled her guts out. Y/n just watched as Patrick helps Tricia.
Patrick: We should go Tricia, Ill drive you home na. Baket ka naman nagpakalasing
Nagpaalam na si Patrick kay Y/n at dinala ni Tricia sa kotse hindi na natuloy ang usapan ng dalawa.
Naiwan naman ang cheerleader na halong inis at pag aalala ang nararamdaman.
