RALLY
It has been 2 days since Y/n and Tricia met and they haven't talked to each other since but they did follow each other on instagram. Both became busy with school since that night.
Today, Tricia is running late to a rally in QC. Her mom is supposed to be the one attending it but due her responsibilities as a VP, she asked Tricia to sub for her last minute. Her 2 other siblings were assigned in other cities as well. While driving she posted on her IG story a picture of the road with a caption
"See you today, Kakampinks in QC"
when she stopped at a red light.
As she put her phone on the shotgun seat, her phone lit up with a notification

it made her smile as she continued her way to the campaign rally.
Once she got to the venue, another volunteer came to her to give her a brief rundown of the program flow. After a minute or two she was called on stage to join the opening exercise.
As she was walking towards the middle of the stage, Tricia's mind was empty. She's been doing rallies regularly so she doesn't really feel nervous anymore it's become like her second nature. Her nonchalance turned to a mixture of excitement and nervousness when she y/n on stage with lapel mic on her mouth. Turns out, she's leading the morning exercise.
Unlike Tricia who's heart started pounding rapidly for some unknown reason, Y/n just gave her a wide smile and pulled her to the center. Tricia didn't have time to process what was going on and they didn't have time to talk anymore because the music started playing eventually. They danced to Shakira's waka waka (iykyk)
"Dami namang energy ng babaeng to. Nawawala talaga pag ka shy type pag sumasayaw eh" Tricia thought to herself while struggling to follow on the exercise.
The song was about to end when Tricia noticed y/n getting closer to her
and held her hand, y/n raised her hand up and shouted "Tricia Robredo, everyone!"
everyone clapped and made cheerful noises. Tricia's mind was all over the place from the confusion of and surprise of seeing y/n, mixed with struggling to catch her breathe from the exercise they did but she was once again shookt when y/n hugged her and everyone in the audience went
"yieeee".
The two separated with smiles evident on their faces.
The program went on with Tricia's short speech after that. She thanked everyone and took her time talking about her mom and her plans. She was back to her usual funny and witty self, interacting with the audience and throwing jokes every now and then.
That's what makes Tricia the favorite Robredo, despite having a degree in a well respected field, she remains relatable and humorous - something people never expect from a Doctor like her.
Once she was finished she went straight to the holding area where she saw y/n taking photos with a tall guy and a few other girls. Their backs facing her
Tricia approached them once they were done
Girls: Bye po thank you po ulet sa picture
Guy: Bye y/n. Thank you. See you around *then the guy shyly walked away*
Tricia: Wow hanggang dito, may fans. Iba talaga ang best flyer ng y/d/u
Y/n just chuckled
Y/n: "hindi, nag ask lang ng picture"
Tricia: Anyway, *Tricia changed the topic* I didn't know you'd be here. I was so surprised
Y/n: well believe it or not, but I didn't know you'd be here either
Tricia: Wala talaga sa plan pero mama can't come so ako na muna. Salamat sa pag volunteer ha,
Y/n: I encouraged my teammates to join me actually instead of scheduling a training, dito muna kami for today. I've been wanting to volunteer ever since the rallies started
Ngayon lang nagka opportunity. Sayang nga lang I was expecting VP pa naman"
she pouted at the last statement. Which Tricia found cute. A small smirk started forming on her lips but she decided to play it cool and tease the other girl instead
Tricia: "Ah ganon so disappointed ka na ako yung andito instead of mama?"
y/n: "Haha no sorry that's not what I mean. Hahaha ikaw talaga" and we both laughed at my silliness. " sorry pala, napagod ba kita?"
Tricia: To be honest, oo!
Y/n: actually madali lang dapat yun kaso nung nakita kita na sasali, iniba ko yung exercises lol
Tricia: Ah ganon?! Baket parang may galit
Y/n: Hindi naman, gusto lang kita pasayawin
They both giggled again.
After that l quick interaction, tinawag na ulit si Tricia to be on stage and lumabas na rin si y/n ng tent to watch the other performers. Maiksi lang yung program. Paalis na sana sya when she got a text from Tricia
Tricia: Where are you?
Y/n: I'm near the exit na, why?
Tricia: Are you going home na? Can you come back here sa backstage?
Y/n: Why, need help pa ba sa pag pack up? Sige I'm on my way
y/n got to the backstage and immediately saw Tricia
Y/n: hey what's up?
Tricia: The team is going to dinner with mama, since hindi sya nakapunta unexpectedly dito sa venue. Sama ka please?
Tricia gave a small pout which if her sisters saw would cause them to make fun of her
Y/n: Hala nakakahiya naman Trish
Tricia: No please iniinvite ka ni mama - alam nyang volunteer ka and you brought your whole cheer team pa she wants to thank you in person. Besides diba sabi mo you want to meet her?
Y/n: Hmmm
Tricia: Don't worry kasama mo naman ako dun, hindi kita iiwan promise.
Y/n: ok if you insist
Tricia: Yey ok wait up for me ha tas diretso na tayo sa resto Ill fix lang my bag.
Tricia couldn't hide her excitement as she turned her back collecting her things and couldn't stop jumping like an excited kid
