Chapter 3

Ashton's POV

Zyon, you son of a fish

I was busy cursing Zyon in my mind that i forgot about the existence of his butler, until he tapped my shoulder

" Master Ashton, let me show the way to your room. Please follow me " he said and started walking towards the left wing of the mansion

We've been walking around the mansion, there's a lot of ups and down, and hallways. I seriously think that i need a map to guide me if i want to go outside of my room

This man walking infront of me is so silent. The situation is so awkward. Better hit a conversation since Zyon said that starting today i'll be living here, obviously we'll need to interact more often than usual.

" So.. May i ask for your name? " i asked and walked beside him

He threw a short glance at me before answering my question

" Laustre Hawkins " he shortly replied

Woah, even his name resembles his attitude. Hawkins, cold as ice, silent as starry night and doesn't talk that much

" How old are you? " i asked again

" 25 "

I looked at him, unable to control myself from talking nonsense

" Did Zyon forbade you to talk? Your replies are too short " i said and he sighed

" I'm 25 years old, me and master Zyon are childhood friends. I grew up with him. I've been his butler since we were young. Lastly, i don't like wasting too much energy in talking to some strangers. " he said and stopped infront of a door

The door is made of hard wood and the base is made of glass that has a beautiful pattern design

" This is your room Mr. Voughan " Laustre said and opened the door for me

" Thank you " i smiled at him and he nodded at me

" Please rest well and feel at home, Master. I'll call you if the meal is ready to serve "

" Alright, thanks " i said before closing the door

I explored my eyes around the room

" This room is so freaking huge! Much more bigger than my shabby apartment! There's a king sized bed. A study table, a vanity table, and this room has it's own living room! "

I roam around the room and opened another door and it leads me into the bath room

The bathroom is complete, they have hygienes and other necessities. There's also a shower and a bathtub. Also, the entire bathroom is made of marbles.

I left the bathroom and open a few more doors. There's a walk in closet and entertainment room too.

" Zyon deserved his title as youngest billionaire. This room is too good to be true! "

I said to myself and layed on the bed and fallen asleep

" Master? "

" Master Ashton? "

I heard a loud knock i was still in daze when i realized that someone is calling me

" Who is it?! " i asked.

I got up from my bed and rubbed my eyes

" it's me Master, Laustre. The dinner is served " he said " May i come in, Master? "

" Mmm " i said, still sleepy

" Please master prepare yourself first, take a quick shower and change into a decent clothes "
