3. Meeting Eddie again

Y/n pov.

The last 3 classes went by very quickly. You just sat in the back of the classroom and thought about Eddie. But finally school is over. Dustin is hanging out with Mike today after school and you need to pick him up in 2 hours. While waiting you decide to take a walk to the forest. It's actually quite calming. While wondering around, your thoughts get back to Eddie. You absolutely love him. No way he likes a freak like you.

 Soon you found a old picnic table in the middle of nowhere. Strange. You hear a snap of a branch and quickly turn around. Eddie is standing there. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you" he says lets out a little laugh. You stand there still panicing from the sudden jumpscare. "You allright?" Eddie asks and his face turns worried. "I- uhh you s-scared me" you stutter still shocked from the sudden scare and also because you are talking to your biggest crush ever. 

"Aww im sorry i didn't mean to. C'mon let's sit down" Eddie says and sits down at the table. You also sit down nervously. Panic attac is not what we need right now. "You know, im really sorry for asking that question at lunch. I didn't know" Eddie says clearly feeling sorry. "Ehh it's allright, i guess" you say, not daring to look at him. "Nice jacket btw" Eddie says and you smile. "You seem shy and quiet, i like that" He says and laughs. No way Eddie just said that. You must be dreaming. Okay just don't turn red like a tomato and everything is fine. 

But why Eddie is here? Is he a creep that stalks new people or some shit. "Did you follow me?" you ask, not stuttering this time. "Oh no no noo i didn't. This table is kind of my secret spot" he says and smiles. You smile back and stare at his beautiful brown eyes. "You look like a tomato. Bright red one" Eddie says letting out a little laughter. Oh shit. You immedietly loon back down at the table out of embarrasment. Eddie 100% knows you like him. "So why are you here? Shouldn't you be taking Dustin home?" He asks completely ingoring your blushing. "Uhh he is with Mike, or some shit" you answer quietly. "Okayy. But now, tell me about yourself! Who you are and what you like to do" Eddie says and stands up smirking. "What so i need to tell. I never had any friends, nothing special about me. Exept i can play drums" you say and smile. 

"Whoa you play drums? We would be the magic duo, becauseeee i play the guitar!" Eddie says and does a air guitar solo. You giggle at his goofyness. "Yeahh i got you laughing!" He says and pats your back gently. He is soo sweet. "Finally people who don't see me as a freak" you say and he immediately has a worried face. "Who see you as a freak?" he says and looks you dead in the eye. "Ehh just some ass fuckers from my old high school" you say and turn your face back to the table. "Hey don't worry, your in Hawkings now. Away from those idiots. And you know, everyone calls me a freak" Eddie says and pulls you under his arm. Theres no way he just did that. You feel your cheecks blushing LIKE CRAZY. Not a suprise. You slowly lean your head on his shoulder. "Your safe here" Eddie whispers and gently kisses your head. WAIT WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT!? You instantly blush even more. If thats even possible. You two start chatting about music and stuff until you check your watch and realize it's been 2 hours. "Oh shit i better pick up Dustin from Mikes" you say and stand up. "Allright y/n. I guess we will see tomorrow, right?" Eddie says and you nod. "Bye Eddie!" "Bye y/n!" he says and you go back to your car. 

You arrive at Mikes and go knock on the door. Dustin opens the door and you two get back to the car. "Are you still mad at me?" Dustin asks. For a moment you think about what he means but then you remember lunch. "Ehh not really. Just don't do anything like that anymore okay" you say and smile at him. Dustin nods and you start driving home. "You seem happier since morning. Why. I thought your day was like shit" He says and you blush instantly. No way you were gonna tell him about your crush on Eddie. "I have my reasons to be happy. And it's non of your business young man" you say and try to hide the blushing, succesfully. "Allright whatever" Dustin says.

After arriving home you eat, take a shower, watch tv. Just some regural shit. When you go to bed, you can't sleep. For one reason. Eddie. He is so perfect. Anyone could get him. Definetly not you though. But still he is SO HOT but so sweet AT THE SAME TIME. Just perfect. You keep thinking about him until you fall asleep.

--- (dream)---

You are in your hometown. Suddenly you hear your parents muffled screams. "MOM! DAD?" you scream and follow their sound. After a while of running you see a house in fire. "NOO WHERE ARE YOU" you scream and cry at the same time. "Over here!" you see your parents on the upstairs window. Then, the house explodes and you fall to the ground. "NOOO" you scream

---(end of dream)---

You wake up in a jolt, sweating, shaking and crying. "It's just a nightmare, it's just a nightmare" you keep whispering to yourself. Such a short dream, but such bad feeling after. You have seen this dream almost every night after the actual fire. You try to get more sleep and succesfully fall asleep. This time no nightmares.
