One month. Over one long month had passed since Ruby Rose, Moon Lumos, and their teams and friends began to attend Beacon Academy.

It was early morning, Friday, and team JNPR had been missing since the Friday prior. And today. . . Today, they made their glorious return.

Jaune: . . . Can I go home?

Glynda: No, Mr. Arc. You can't.

Nora: . . . What about-

Glynda: Neither can you, Ms. Valkyrie.

Pyrrha: It'll be fine you two. We're back.

Their airship landed atop the helipad at the edge of Beacon Academy, and out came the members of JNPR.

Jaune Arc had badly damaged armor, a few dents in his shield, and a lot of bruises covering his body.

Nora Valkyrie wasn't fairing any better. Her hair was all over the place, her skin was dirtied, a few patches of blood staining her clothes.

Pyrrha Nikos was uninjured, but covered in dirt and stained clothes. Luckily, Myló was a shiny as ever.

Lie Ren had tattered and torn clothes, slightly less injured than his partner, but definitely worse for wear.

They had just returned from their first daunting and perilous task that Glynda Goodwitch had promised on the first day of Combat Studies. . . Survival Training.

They spent an entire week surviving in the wild. . . The Headmistress herself retrieved them from the rendezvous point and brought them home.

Glynda: A medical team is on the way.

Jaune: Oh thank god!

The blond collapsed backwards onto the ground, Nora dramatically feigning a faint and falling atop him.

Jaune: Ow. . .

Nora: I'm sleeping. Night night. . .

Ren: (Sighs) It's six in the morning.

Pyrrha: Let them be Ren. . . It had certainly been a long week.

The Silent Ninja simply shook his head and took a seat beside his laying teammates. The Invincible Spartan crossed her arms and giggled before doing the same. Goodwitch. . . smiled.

Glynda: To be entirely honest, I excepted you four to seem devoid of life by the time you returned.

Jaune: Ouch. . .

Glynda: I didn't mean that to be offensive. It's not often that I have first years that are so. . . talented. If anything, I'm proud. Now. . .

The adjusted her glasses and glanced over her shoulder.

Glynda: Mr. Lumos, I'm afraid you're not scheduled to partake in the survival training next.

The Violet Swordsman simply shook his head as he stepped past her.

Moon: I was waiting on them. Are you all okay?

Jaune/Nora: NO-

Pyrrha: We've been better. I am glad to see you, Moon.

Ren: As am I.

Jaune: . . . What are you holding behind you?

The young man blankly presented them with a plate filled to the brim with cookies.

Moon: I made cookies. Extra chocolate chip. (Smiles) Congrats on making it back alive.

Suddenly reinvigorated with energy, JNPR pounced and dug in, even Ren helping himself enthusiastically.
