Monday, Exam Week

Monday is the first day of the exams, and today's exam is English. The other exams are in the next following days.

"Good luck you guys," Chaewon said

"2 weeks, then we get to have a break where we won't have to care so much," Si-ah said with a fist of determination 

The girls laughed

"Class, place your bags in front of the class and make sure to put your phone on silent mode, airplane mode and put your phones in your allocated numbers," Mr Ko said

The girls looks at each "See you in an hour," Chaewon said and walked to the front of the class to put her bag

After a week of exams, Monday

They weren't free yet, they were left with 2 more papers, "Meet you at 12 Aurora Mall this Thursday," San telepathically say

"And wear something bright like orange," He said

"Okay," She said

San looks at Si-ah from afar who barely took a sip of her drink.

They are currently in the library. San walks to where she was seated.

"Si-ah," He softly called her name, she didn't hear a thing as she was using her AirPods  

"Si-ah," He taps on her shoulder 

"What?" She turns to look at who interrupted her, "Oh San?"

When she turned around, San saw black eye bags, eyes barely awake. She wasn't the tidied-up Si-ah anymore. 

"Si-ah, what are you doing here?" San asked in concern 

He takes a seat next to hers

"Here to study, of course, We have a history exam tomorrow then after that we have literature," She said, barely talking properly people might think she was drunk

"But you can study at home," He asked

"Yes, but my sister is at home with her boyfriend and well I don't want to interrupt a special moment, eh?" She wiggles her brows

"But don't worry I'll go in 40 minutes-" Si-ah stopped mid-way, and a sharp pain came running to her head

San, guessing it was the effects of overworking, quickly checked on her.

"It's just brain lag, don't worry," She reassured

"Si-ah, you need rest look at yourself you're barely saying a full sentence, you need sleep when will you see that?!" San said 

"Exams are important but your health is important too Si-ah," He held her shoulders

"I'll bring you home," He began clearing the table

Putting her pens, and highlighter in her pencil case

"Hey! The highlighter has its own case," She snatches it from him 

He smiles "As long as you're going home," He said

San and Si-ah are walking toward Si-ah's house. Since Si-ah is really sleepy and seemingly looking like she's drunk, San grabs her arm so that she won't randomly sleep on the sidewalk.

"San!? WHERE'S MY BAG?? I THINK I LEFT IT IN THE LIBRARY," Si-ah shoves his hand away from her and ran

"SI-AH YOUR BAG IS WITH ME," He shouts

"Huh?" She squints "Oh haha I found it," She walks to San, snatching it from him

"How dare you steal my bag, there's nothing valuable there unless you want to take the SAT," She said

They reach her house "Bye San, Son, Sun Haha," She yawns 

"See you tomorrow, do well for your exams or I'll have you to charge the tuition fees," She said

San laughs "Mhm, I'll do well," He waves her goodbye

So many time skips
Thursday

Exams were finally over. This means they were free from papers, Teachers for 2 months! Also means that it was time for Si-ah to know the true identity of her soulmate.

"See you at 12, At Aurora Mall's Starbucks," She said

Si-ah wore an orange crop top with blue jeans.

Why did I spell wore as whore? 🤦‍♀️

She goes into the mall and took the escalator to the second level. She enters Starbucks and takes a seat, waiting.

"I'm here," San said

Si-ah looks around "What are you wearing? Tell me something that I could differentiate you from the others."

"I'm wearing a leather jacket-" As he was talking someone placed a drink on Si-ah's table

She looks at the hand and sees their left ring finger with the same yellow and green star.

She looks up and sees San?

"Hey, I'm your soulmate," He said

"You better not be playing games," She said

"I'm not," He said

Furious and hurt was how she felt. The person she called a friend, the person who she confided in about this matter was the exact same person who played her.

With tears in her eyes, she stood up from her seat and walked away.

"Si-ah!" He calls her but she didn't turn around nor stopped 

He runs after her

They are now out of the mall. The sound of people, traffic, buses, and cars honking at each other.

"Si-ah please stop, let me explain," He stopped, trying to catch his breath

She stops, turning around 

"Explain?" She scoffs "Why didn't you tell me when you found out?"

"You made me look like an idiot!" She said

"You were the one who made yourself look like an idiot, you didn't even ask me if I was Yeosang you know that whatever name you said won't be beeped unless is close to ours or even our own name?" San said

"I know it was not right for me to tell you but I was in denial, I liked Hajin and I didn't want anyone to be my soulmate but her." 

"But she made me open up my eyes, I realised that she has her own and I have mine and I can't think that Hajin will like me when she has her own feelings," San said
